At least we normally do well away from home on midweek evenings, so will turn our form around at Millwall

leon
Snowflake Royal That's it Ovie. You hold up the ball so the other 5 Bournemouth players can get back in defensive shape.

oxf*rd off.

Yes that was my thought as well.

Lee Hendrie described Ejaria as direct earlier. Which makes me think he should stick to playing the artful dodger in Oliver Twist.
If there are two words that are the antithesis of Ovie Ejaria on a football pitch, they are bully and direct. I've seen it all today.

For a team that has so many points already and could potentially dominate this division, Bournemouth are mind numbingly boring.

Clear penalty, and half decent header at the end. When you’re in the form like Bournemouth are, you get those rubs of the green.

Let’s face it they didn’t really get out of second gear.

Pepe the Horseman Why wouldn't you take your only striker off when you're losing 2-0 at home.

I'd rather lose 4-0 than die with a whimper

Oh and Lee hendrie, what an Oxford of a pundit, no clue

Don't think we will ever get a penalty from this Ref.

3 goals and 1 assists since January I believe (or something close to that). Yet plays 90 minutes each week. Been woeful for too long yet people will blindly defend him

Bournemouth just had too much for us. Need to get Puscas a pair of shooting boots.

Squad is desperately thin. Last season Paunovic used McIntyre as an “attacking” midfielder at times (he even had a hand in a couple of goals). Would bring Holmes on to play in midfield give Laurent and Drinkwater a bit of rest? Not to mention give us some extra height at set pieces.

Need to be more aware of the back post at corners.

The thing this squad is most "thin" on is character. Blackpool had it in spades.

Awful to watch - Liam Moore needs to be dropped right now - he gets injured and we win games - he comes back and we lose - him and Drinkwater at fault for both goals.

I just don't get Drinkwater at all - it's his chance to shine, but he just ambles about without a care in the world :(

URZZZZ 2 up against Blackpool. They threw everything to get back in the game and subsequently did

Fast forward two games later with us in the losing position, you’d think we’d do the same. Instead, the same old same old of intricate passes through the midfield and creating absolutely nothing. 0 shots on target yet first sub in the 84th minute?

The reality is that the team lacks character and are too inconsistent. Unfortunately epitomised by Ejaria and DB who can start the game so positively yet contribute absolutely nothing from minute 30

All stems from the manager. Going nowhere with Paunovic in charge

Totally agree with the lacks character in particular. Don’t think Moore leads well, and there aren’t enough grafters in the team, too many technicians. Given our injuries I didn’t expect to win, but too much same old and the team don’t seem to learn. Good on our day but definately a team of southern softies unfortunately

Paunovic has literally just said he has no intention of playing the youth players who “will not help the team”. So why put them on the bench?

Also it’s not always about the players, change the oxf*rd shape, change something. Broken oxf*rd record. Awful manager.

I thought he was bought in because he had a good record of managing young players.

Decent enough performance against a class outfit.

We didn’t fanny around with it at the back tonight and got right in their faces for 90 mins. They just have the extra bit of quality in the final 3rd that we don’t have. If only we could perform with the same passion every week.

The criticisms I have read in the last couple of pages are pathetic.

I must have imagined their second goal then.

Let's be fair we lost to a far better side, we had a few good spells especially in the first half. But the real positives from tonight's games is the fact that a majority of the players on the pitch are now ignoring the kowtow knee gesture.
