Sanguine I like Bruce more than most, but I'd laugh my titting tits off if he became United manager, even as a stopgap.

On face value it is laughable but I think he would be a better choice than Carrick in the short term. Recent experience managing at the top level, knows the club etc. I don't think it will happen but it would be worth consideration.

They should give it to Scholes until the end of the season. He's been very vocal about what's wrong with the current team so maybe he could put his legend of the club status under jeopardy.

Proper manager. Just him being there gives the players an automatic 20% each. United must be kicking themselves, would have been the perfect man for them in their current state.
