HendoPepe the Horseman Van de Beek is shite.
Classic case of being good because you're not in the team. There must've been a reason why he wasn't playing.

URZZZZ Whilst a draw is a very good result at Stamford Bridge, thought they were very fortunate and more precisely, really poor
Lining up with three CDM’s and no Fernandes, in particular, was odd which reflected in the game as they really struggled to get a foothold. Don’t think they created a single chance of their own accord, all came from Chelsea mistakes (Mendy and Jorginho). Rashford was his usual run but not do much with it and Fernandes lost it time and time again
Whilst they will be very happy with the point, surely their fans will be concerned by just how many levels they were away from Chelsea (considering they finished a good few points ahead of them last season)

paultheroyal Shambolic performance from United - the fact they are championing that as a result shows how far they have fallen. The stats were well and truly shocking. They are so far behind the other teams, they are years away from winning anything of note.

Very much enjoyed the row between Keane & Carragher over the point of signing Ronaldo and that statement sums it up.
If signing Ronaldo even at 36 is not going to get you any closer to winning the league then what was the point? They arguably already had enough to win a cup, given the element of luck that can be involved in winning one - so does Ronaldo give them enough to win the CL?
Wouldn't they be better off playing Greenwood week in, week out (as he looks a real talent) rather than falling back on the plan of get enough balls in to Ronaldo and he'll get you a goal?
Am not saying that Ronaldo is not still a goalscoring force to be reckoned with but if he doesn't make the difference between winning a league or not then it just looks like a deal done to avoid him wearing a City shirt (which was clearly a driving factor) where he would probably have fit better.

Agree with a fair bit of that although disagree with the last sentence as City’s game is so heavily focused on pressing high up the pitch and squeezing the opposition which Ronaldo simply doesn’t do as he wanders around the pitch

leon Interesting that BR0B0T is back when things aren’t as bleak for Man Utd.
I’m sure that’s just coincidental.
