St Pauli Lol at Dellor asking Pauno if Ejaria is vaxed. Can you break confidentiality law on public radio please Pauno?

Yeah he can't risk that - could cost him his job!

Oh.

Snowflake Royal
St Pauli Dellor should have gone further down the list.

Can we take from that that Ejaria was a anti vaxxer and that that decision may have now ruined his footballing career?

What was said?

Dellor started going down the list of injuries and lack of fitness. Players playing too much, not enough (Dann).

The topic of Ejaria came up. Apparently he’s out because of COVID not a football injury. His recovery is taking a while (long COVID?) which suggests he may have been unvaccinated, so Dellor asked if he was vaccinated, Pauno said he wouldn’t answer (understandable) but said he did know who was unvaccinated and who was.

Pretty shitty and unprofessional question really and could have oxf*rd Pauno if he did answer it without thinking.

I didn't see it like that.

It seemed that Dellor turned and became more conciliatory when he realised Pauno was just broken so seemed to be putting Qs to Pauno that might mitigate him somewhat.

I might have missed that, what makes you say that?

Pauno was asked about people taking vaccinations or not and Pauno said he couldn't talk about it or something.

He defo asked if Ejaria was vaccinated. The topic of vaccination only came up because Pauno used COVID as the reason for Ejaria being unfit.

Brogue And tetek injured too

Who is in charge of the fitness team? Is it part of Paunos team or are they separate? If part of Paunos management team then agreed fire Pauno and the lot.

The telling thing in the interview was - Tim "how are conversations with the owners, have you spoken with them in the last few days". Pauno says "a month ago and then a month before, talking about the future". I reckon Dai has checked out.

Jagermesiter1871 Think Pauno is coming across very well in this interview

Your head is so far up his arse you can see out of his mouth.

I don't think he's particularly great and don't think he should have been given the job in the first place but acknowledging he has been dealt an impossible hand with nearly everything outside of his control and I don't think replacing him will change anything.

I see what you’re saying but players and owners don’t get sacked and something has to change to breathe some life back into the team. I honestly believe Warnock or Mick McCarthy could keep us up. If he isn’t sacked before Saturday I think he’ll be here until the end of the season.

I completely understand why Pauno is bemoaning the hand he's been dealt with (injuries, COVID, AFCON ect...)

BUT.....

You cannot oversee the worst week (results wise) in our recent history and still expect to be in post.

Agreed but setting him up to break confidentially laws when he was clearly fairly emotional is irresponsible at minimum.

One thing that Pauno said stuck out for me, there are problems behind the scenes that he doesn`t want to go into, read into that what you will.

Oh right I forgot it was that way round.

Well tbf if Pauno is going to say stuff like that he's inviting the question.

If Ejaria is unvaxxed he can f**k off.

I've always said that unvaccinated players should be fined, dropped and not allowed to play
