Where were you last season mate when I and CR knocked him? Were you one of the 99.9% of fans who were delighted to see Mr Capitulation stay?

I honestly can't remember - do tell.

Um, not sure if serious. Check the date on when I started this thread.

That was after me and Leon 8)

John Madejski's Wallet Reckon me and Leon have been calling this longer than most of you

Basically JMW & Leon >>> you lot

Well quite.

Although Brogue has been arguing that Pauno is just a bit shit for a long time.

I don't venture on to the team board much, so this may well be a feather in both your caps.

I can't help but think though that championship fans getting points for saying 'the manager of my team is not very good and will/should be sacked at some point' is a bit like English weathermen getting points for saying it will rain at some point.

Can we avoid paying out his contract by dismissing him for gross misconduct for breaching the concussion protocol against Derby and not immediately subbing subbing off teenager Ashcroft when he had a head injury and was clearly displaying symptoms of concussion?

No wonder our injuries and recovery are appalling when our medical team don't enforce basic player safety protocols.

Well, I think we were right to stick with him to this point, and my argument previously has been that I wasn't convinced that another manager would do better with our situation - but now I'll flip that around and say that a new manager couldn't possibly do any worse than our most recent results.

I don't have the bizarre spitting hatred of Paunovic that Ian obviously does. Clearly a good guy who has tried his best and for me has at times got the team playing very good, and effective, football. But injuries, finances and the rest has made it a really tough task to get a consistent tune from the team, and I think his time is now run.

If we could convince Steve Bruce to join us (clue, we can't) I'd be happy. Warnock, yeah I'd probably close my eyes, hold my breath, and support the guy. Alex Neil would be my preference, but I don't know why he'd join us.

Just not Pulis, Hughton or Monk, please.

It's time we rolled the dice and get someone in who will scramble the results needed to keep us up. We need points, I dont care if it's a short term manager.

Pauno is a nice guy, he has been dealt with a pitiful hand but the capitulation last night and loss to Kidderminster are not acceptable. He is guiding us down and we need to avoid relegation at all costs. It would be a disaster for the club and set us back for many years.

Dai and Dayong Pang, do something before it gets very hostile towards you. Show that you care!

Knowing Dai we're more likely to get someone who's name would get us good points in Scrabble.

I agree, he should have posted it at the start of the thread, now it's like he's just trying to jump on a "leon is an idiot" bandwagon just to get some points.

Other criteria:
Someone with no experience in the English leagues who probably hasn't even visited England
Someone who does not communicate well in English
Someone whose name we'll all have to google
Someone who has a record of switching clubs every 12 months
Someone who will have a new playing style which doesn't suit any of our players
Someone full of excuses
Someone prepared to sign a ridiculously long contract on big money

Here's a great longer-term idea - look at the managers who did a great job in the Championship and got teams promoted, when they get sacked for struggling in the Premier League, Hire them.
