South Coast Royal From the club's perspective there are 3 good reasons for him to sign before the end of the window, Luton, Huddersfield and QPR.
Lose all of those and we are in real trouble.
What a shame that we are in no position to push Andy to sign.

While losing all 3 would keep us on a very poor run, I wouldn't say we're in "real trouble" for losing to 4th and 7th in the league as a team in a relegation scrap.

We are now a week on ahead of a game tonight where he won't be playing as he isn't signed on during a window where there are only 4 weeks to do business. Regular updates should be provided, especially now he isn't eligible to play for us.
CLUB STATEMENT: Still no update on the Andy Carroll situation. As we said last week, we've offered him a contract and are waiting to hear back. He can't play tonight, but you already know that.
"Whats the point in releasing such a pointless statement, the club never tell us anything"

You can't please anyone who'd say that. Doesn’t mean you shouldn't try to please some people.

YorkshireRoyal99 Well he was at the ground last night so that's a positive sign at least.

YorkshireRoyal99 Not sure what is taking so long - hopefully it can all be resolved ahead of Saturday and we can have him playing.

He is probably waiting for any other offers to come him, which is his prerogative.

Praying more like after sitting there and watching that last night.

We’ll probably have to wait until after the visit to QPR to find out what happens next.

Mid Sussex Royal Has turned down Burnley, likely because he wants to stay in the south rather than money as I'm sure they offered him more than £1k a week

tidus_mi2 Would love to see a front two of Carroll and Joao just bullying defenders.
