Franchise FC
Hendo Looks like this could now happen.

Doing the rounds on Twitter.

Loan deal with an obligation to buy of €5m should Pisa get promoted (they are currently 2nd) and with 20% sell-on clause to boot.

Just the loan deal, then

It is certainly close, only 9 points between 1st a 9th.

Oof so we either leave ourselves incredibly short of numbers up top or we are bringing someone in.

Guess I'm a Pisa fan as well this season now.

What could go wrong with two injury prone strikers like Joao and Meite.

Thing is, IF they go up, this is actually a really good deal for the club. Who would have honestly predicted €5m + sell on clause? But, obviously a risk as it leaves us light up top and it could end up being the worst of everything if Joao gets injured again, we get relegated and Pisa miss out

Only one of whom is actually currently match fit enough to play in the first team!

Sweep on who gets injured first?

He's dogshit, we could replace him with with a 50 Yr old Carl asaba and the team would be better off.

Bit disappointed with this. Theres a player there somewhere but he's been badly misused by management. Hope we are bringing another striker in as I'm not comfortable with only Joao (injury prone) and Clarke (unproven). Meite is 3-4 weeks away at least as well.

Oh yeah, for sure. If they go up it’s a oxf*rd genius move.

Is the stuff on Twitter just made up nonsense? I can’t see us letting him go without bringing someone else in on loan and there’s no indication of that whatsoever.

From somebody that has named himself after a striker that scored 24 goals in 124 apps is quite frankly priceless.

Sean is not going anywhere, Soton have already turned down an approach from WBA.

A sensible deal would have some sort of recall clause ... do you think there'll be one?

Nope it’s a loan for the rest of season, but let’s face he’s been pretty useless under Pauno and if this brings €5m into the club in the summer then good for everyone.

Don't know why some folk are worried about striker cover once he's gone.

He's been our striker cover since Joao broke.
