WestYorksRoyal Please let this be true. Surely Ince would get a pretty regular Championship wage and this would be great for our FFP travails? Not to mention balancing the squad better

Ince is apparently Stoke's highest earner. Would have thought he is on near enough what Moore is if what I read is true.

I am sure it will be a loan both ways and so probably cost neutral - but it gets Moore out of the club - which seems to be the owners objective. I assume Moore will look for a permanent move in the summer to Stoke or elsewhere and we might offer Ince a contract in the summer if he plays well and if we can afford him. Both players will be playing for their futures.

Can't we only offer 8.5k?

Depends on the terms of the loan deal. If we are sending Moore to Stoke and paying his wages and Tom Ince is being paid by Stoke then we don't lose or gain anything.

Looks like Ince has been playing regularly for Stoke, so would be a strange move by him, especially if he was to take a big pay cut.

Yeah reckon that’s quite a likely scenario

All for it tbh

He has been doing quite well also, 3 goals in 11 apps recently. I can only assume he's been told he's no longer required by Stoke.

Is this actually a loan deal or are they both permanent transfers? I haven't seen anything saying which one yet though.

Loan is what is being reported by the blue ticks on Twitter.

I have seen a loan deal mentioned which would be as shame as we would still Moore’s wages on the books next season.

Can only hope that they would have the obligation to buy Moore should it be a loan deal. If not a permanent transfer would make more sense for both parties really all things considered.

Why? If anyone comes in for him this summer then we'd let him leave for free. Just need to hope he plays well at Stoke, he'll get a permanent move if he does. No way he stays at the club.

If Liam Moore is touted about on a free someone will pick him up, they'd be silly not to. A Liam Moore in a decent team is a different Liam Moore to the one we have currently.

Not on 35k pw though

Reckon the best we could get would be having to subsidise half of that

Incidentally the game where you’ll be unable to see either of them play has been rearranged for Tuesday, April 5.

Confirmed - loan swap!

Never have I been so glad to see the back of a player - or in Moore's case, parasite!

I have to be honest. I saw #IncelsaRoyal and thought why have we signed an Incel?

I get it now though.
