Wtf is a Cincinnati bengals

Misspelt! Bagels

Mmm, cinnamon bagels...

They used to have as much bite as a bagel. I put £50 on them at 80-1 to win the Super Bowl bowl but now tempted to cash out and save the money to buy my share in AFC Reading.

YorkshireRoyal99 To be honest, the bigger concern for me is are we actually permitted to sack our manager? At the end of the day, if we cannot sack our manager due to FFP regulations being against us, that's a bigger issue for me.

Yes, we can sack him.

Surprised this hasn't been covered already.

Sorry, I'll remember next time to spend my entire day dissecting every comment made on the site. Thanks for that.

No way you could have seen that it had been answered about 30 times over the last week.

As I say, I don't read every comment ever posted. I'm sorry that it troubled you though.

I'm with Ian on this. Its literally done the rounds 30 times. We can sack or garden leave, any payment would be for his replacement. Which could push us over our allowed budget.

I'm not suggesting he isn't correct, I'm saying I haven't gone through and read every comment, hence why I posted the question I did. I don't tend to read through every comment I haven't read since I last looked. I don't understand why it needed such a response, but anyway, question answered now.

Which doesn't mean to say I read all the comments I haven't read though does it?

Again, I apologise that it really troubled you that much.

So, we've established we can sack Pauno.

Why haven't we? It is because employing a new manager will affect the budget as they will expect paying (along side us still paying Pauno), though with some inventive accounting or try-before-you-by shenanigans we could get around this.

Is there actually a manager out there who would want to come to Reading on a limited wage? Some think we are an attractive proposition due to the talent in the squad. Does Kia not have anyone he can foist on us?

Alternative is to promote from within (player, backroom staff, academy coach) but nobody stands out.

What will be the trigger for Dai to actually sack Pauno? Evidently it is not results or performances which have been pretty bad, will it be if we drop into the bottom three (for a prolonged period of time)? Will the protest achieve anything - probably not.

If he does get sacked is there a general consensus on who we want as manager? Warnock's name keeps being mentioned, especially for a short-term contract until he retires in the summer.

Cheap options:
Fortune
Gilkes
McDermott
O'Shea
Morrison
Dann
Coppell

More expensive options
Warnock
Hughton
Wycombe bloke
Etc etc
Some clown from the Hungarian 3rd tier that Kia represents

Pretty uninspiring bunch that tbqh. And we all know some randomer that Kia likes is the most likely, especially at the wages we are likely to offer, and the playing squad restrictions.

there's tons of other options to be fair. But we'd prob have to pay a reasonable amount for them. Not likely this season at least
