If Bournemouth don't go up with that squad, something has gone seriously wrong there. On paper they look well ahead of Blackburn, QPR etc. I'd be really surprised if they didn't get 2nd tbh

Bournemouth still have saleable assets but their revenue will nosedive next season if they don't get promoted so some serious decisions to be made.

Hendo
tidus_mi2 Bournemouth on the verge of being knocked out by Boreham Wood, is that more embarrassing than us considering the budget and players available to them?

And FT, Bournemouth 0-1 Boreham Wood

I would say it was worse than our result, yes. Also it being at home.

Added to which is the way that Kiddy very nearly beat the team who are currently 5th in the Premier League on Saturday makes our defeat - on paper - less embarassing.

Probably not too relevant now given their last couple of games, but Morrison now out for the season for Cardiff and given he’s out of contract at the end of the season, chance he’s played his last game there

Obviously at the time of his sale, we were in a precarious financial position but given his overall performances and longevity there, in hindsight, looks like we sold him on the cheaper side

Maybe, I think the rumoured £3m is probably a fair price based on where both clubs were at the time.

Would actually take him back if it was an option, doubt it would be though.

All things considered I think it was a decent deal for everyone concerned really. You could have possibly added an extra million or two maximum on his eventual sale but, given we needed the cash at the time, it wasn't a bad deal. £3m is a fair amount of money for a Championship player these days.

You have to laugh otherwise you would feel like crying. I`m watching the Fulham v Mllwalll game and it was mentioned that they are on course to beat the championship scoring record of 98 goals score by Bournemouth in 2015.
I`m f*cking speenchless.

Lmao, is the record even the 99 goals we scored? I have a feeling it isn't.

Hull sacking McCann was brainless, they have probably done enough this season already, but this is a nailed on home win. another owner that thinks foreign managers is the way to go.

Since it was rebranded the championship yes, Bolton and Man city scored more when it was div 1.

fun fact, if we had got a 21 point deduction like derby have this season in the 05/6 season we would still have been promoted. 8)

They are really jammy, need to start picking up points otherwise we're relying on Derby going bust.

Derby are closing in. After Boro they have home games v Posh and Millwall.
We must start picking up some wins.
They won’t go under. Its too high profile for that to happen.

Good news Derby are winning, they will suddenly start to feel the pressure of expectation now and drop off massively. Ideally we'll lose tomorrow to keep the pressure on them

Chill ... win our 2 in hand and they're 10 behind.
