Even if they replaced him with someone shit, I feel the uplift alone from the sacking could drag us across the safety line.

Club never tweeted the usual post-match interview with Pauno either. I reckon it's done.

It'll be Warnock, he'll take us down, and then he'll retire having finally got the last laugh.

Was on Facebook. I read it as they knew the vitriol is slightly worse on Twitter so didn't bother.

Not sure. I think the smugness he would achieve by keeping us up and rescuing us from the abyss will add another 10 years on to his life.

JR Could be quite a Valentine’s Day if rumours correct!

It is likely a very attractive proposition for Warnock. It’s his last season in management, would like to go out on a high, quality squad of underachievers, ok commute and chance to leave a legacy as a hero at a club where most fans hated him.

The problem is I doubt the owner or CEO know who Neil Warnock is, they don't know anyone competent managers who know the Championship. They'll yet again leave it in the hands of Kia who will drop one of his mates in to the job.

This is true. It would be the ultimate kick in the teeth for us to get out wish finally, but he be replaced by another random from an obscure league.

Game 45, SCL rocking with Neil Warnock's barmy army as he has kept us up with a game to spare.

He is handed a microphone.

"I never though I'd have you oxf*rd chanting my name!"

I do think Dai may have got pretty pissed off with Saturday turning (a little bit) nasty and instead of being about getting a full house etc, it ended with fans protesting on the pitch. Clearly wants to be liked and the story became about Pauno’s uselessness

Tomorrow going to be interesting

Is that because it doesn’t actually cost us any more to sack because he can just go on gardening…..etc etc

Yeah obviously sacking him and his crew won't get us any penalties. The question is does then paying for a new crew cost us?

It will cost us but it will be within our limits.

At the end of the day, if this is true, the club will be well on their way working towards getting a replacement so they will likely be in discussions with the EFL regarding wages for a new manager and his staff as well. That's the difficulty around it all.

So could we just promote someone internally?

Yes that's what I was calling for in the ACTION thread a month ago. Best case scenario would be to get someone proven in though obviously, but I'd still be happy with an internal switch.
