Perhaps we are in negotiations with a prospective new manager and all will be revealed when he(or she  ) has agreed to join

More like:

Kia "I've got this bloke in mind who manages in the Mongolian fourth division and I'll need a million pound finders fee from you"

Dai "sounds good to me, sign him up"

Why are you listening to anything being said by a fake journalist? He would have the first clue and posts Reading FC related stuff to get likes from the 16 year olds in half term who don't know any better.

Of course it would be safe to assume Kia would be involved, we all know that. Its not news.

It is bad luck in China to announce bad luck before the sun has gone down over there. I would expect a later announcement, around 2pm our time.

Sanguine Sure, there's always this type of fan at a football club - my post was more a response to Millsy's assertion 'well of course fans went on the pitch'. Err, no. We just lost a few football matches. It is silly, entitled stuff - although I guess what we are getting to now is a generation of fans who have only ever known us as a Championship/PL club.

Sorry but "we just lost a few football matches" is reductive. We have "just lost a few football matches" many times before and no one felt the need to invade. But the huge Harriers defeat, the huge Fulham home defeat, 8 defeats in a row, a man who has lost the dressing room leading us into freefall and a certain drop to league one. If you can't see the reason they felt the need to risk a ban and think what has been going on is just a few defeats then I really cannot comment further!

There's nothing wrong with a generation of fans who see us as a Champ/PL club btw. It's fans (like me btw) who saw us languishing in the third tier for years who shouldn't be holding back aspirations of the newer lot.

For the record, I didn't invade and I absolutely wouldn't and I do understand some of your thoughts. But I totally understand their protest and give it my blessing. Thanks to them we might be seeing Pauno go. If it was left to those who find this sort of thing cringeworthy, we would soon find ourselves in League One "where we belong", as I'm sure another generation of fans unhelpfully and wrongly believes.

Thing is it's self-fulfilling. If Pauno is sacked, which he surely has coming, some of you will genuinely believe it is because these knuckle-draggers, some of whom subsequently were abusive towards other Reading fans, went on the pitch. It won't be.

It isn't reductive to say 'we've just lost some football matches' in the context of Pauno and the team. That really is it. We are not entitled to Championship football. Fans ran on to the pitch whilst the players were still on it. Want to protest the Board? Fine. Organise, and do it. Peacefully.

I know I'm relatively alone here, but the personal abuse of the manager and players and just can't abide by. If that makes me 'in an odd mood' then so be it.

A few is generally considered about 3.

We've lost about 14 in 19 and had two good seasons in 10 years, with a generally appalling home record.

We've had a points deduction and 3 years of transfer embargos.

Our worst ever home defeat.
Worst ever cup loss.
Attendance is plummeting
We look like under this manager we're on for conceding the most goals we've ever conceded in a season at home and our worst ever run of defeats in a row.

But you think we've had a few losses. :|

Wake up.

I showed you last week that our overall record under Pauno is very similar to that under Gomes, Clement, Adkins, Clarke and anothers. Our problem is our owners. Bring a new manager in, with these owners and with this approach and we might get a short 'bounce' but in 18 months time we'll be here again. A threadbare squad, a few loans to tide us over, and 20th (or so) in the league.

You tried and failed. I showed you it was worse.

I agree the ultimate problem is the owners. I've been saying so for months. Doesn’t excuse the appalling management from Clowno.

And it's even more reason to protest.

No you didn't. As others pointed out, you ignored most the stats and selected those that 'proved' your point. You're being remarkably childish about all this Ian.

And I told them I used standard form with no preconception of what it showed. Which I did. So get oxf*rd.

If I wanted to skew the results the way I wanted I'd have chosen 5 and 16 games because it would have been much worse for Clownovic.
