Thing is it's self-fulfilling. If Pauno is sacked, which he surely has coming, some of you will genuinely believe it is because these knuckle-draggers, some of whom subsequently were abusive towards other Reading fans, went on the pitch. It won't be.
It isn't reductive to say 'we've just lost some football matches' in the context of Pauno and the team. That really is it. We are not entitled to Championship football. Fans ran on to the pitch whilst the players were still on it. Want to protest the Board? Fine. Organise, and do it. Peacefully.
I know I'm relatively alone here, but the personal abuse of the manager and players and just can't abide by. If that makes me 'in an odd mood' then so be it.
Very few people on here are “personally abusing” the players.
Which is surprising because they’ve criminally underperformed this season.
The players have gotten away very lightly. Most of the performances have been unprofessional over the past few months. Some of them disgraceful where players simply threw in the towel. They should be embarrassed and are as much to blame as Pauno.
If VP is gone, and until we get confirmation it is an if, then that is the last hiding place for this squad gone.
Either they are better than they've been showing, in which case they'll comfortably pull away from danger or they're just, as a group, a bit shit.
