not sure how i expected the poll to go when i posted, i think im a little surprised its as even as it is, i was expecting maybe a 60/40 approval.

Turns out there are a lot of passive people who support the pitch invasion but didn't actually take part themselves.

I think a lot more would have joined had it been planned properly. It does take a lot of balls to go on the pitch, especially when there aren't that many to start with.

I think it's simply that people aren't voting about the same thing. I bet there are some who have voted disapproval only because of the manner in which it was done and the perceived/wrongly reported nature of the protests, rather the protest happening per se.

I see it as a vote about the merits of a pitch invasion in this situation.
