Don't think we'll get anyone in before Peterborough so this game under caretaker management will be interesting

You would hope that regardless it would have some sort of effect on the team and maybe it will see an upturn in results for the short-term. Although that didn't happen with Cardiff when they appointed Steve Morrison, we do just need a quick fix really, there are only 16 games remaining.

Very windy/stormy weather on Wednesday night. I don’t think that helps us.

Given our poor record at Posh and the Fawlty Towers like shenanigans going on at the club behind the scenes I can sadly see another heavy defeat. It will be like their cup final and let’s face it they don’t have to be that good to beat us.

This is the problem, it'll be another Kidderminster - they'll all be fired up and full of belief while the shambles that is Reading will turn up and most likely play it's usual slow tempo "Paunoball" and when 'boro get their first corner all the Reading players will come back and stand in the 6 yard box as usual while the Peterborough players queue up to take their chances.

And we can all watch it live on Sky while Don Goodman - or whichever pundit they wheel out - laugh themselves silly.

Of course VP - if he's still there - might have finally learned something but I won't be holding my breath for that.

Our last win at Peterborough was just after 9/11 I think? Darius Henderson's brace in the last few minutes to turn the game around. Away end went absolutely mental that day

Only played there three times since , twice in the league 3-2 and 3-1 defeats and the infamous cup 6-0 thrashing.

I’ve never been to London Road. I saw the win this season and prior to that I think it was the season we finished second to Brighton and it was a draw at the Mad Stad. I am sure a young Jimmy Bullard was playing for them but I can’t remember for sure.

Hound why have all these Matchwatches just turned in Sutekh slagging off Reading and bigging up the opposition players, no matter how rubbish they are?

'could be seen as so bad they even lost to Reading'?

They have always been like that. When things are going well, we’re due a loss, the league table flatters us, and we were lucky to win last week. If we’re also playing against a relatively weak side, well, those are the sorts of matches Reading always lose. The opposition’s goalkeeper used to play for Reading? He’ll score.

It’s never “we’re due a win”, “we were unlucky last week”, “one of our players was on loan to our opponents five years ago so he’ll definitely score”. Just permanent STGs.

Finger on the pulse with that response SCIAG.
