South Coast Royal6ft Kerplunk Yeah cos lots of his mates do. He'll also support whoever else is winning the glory hunting little dickhead. The only reason he's not been kicked out the house is they are his local team and he did start supporting them before they got good again. It's just be a shame he won't truly know how disappointed I am in him until my will is read.
I had something similar with my son who, in his teens, became a Chelsea fan.
It was a bit less of glory-hunting in that he was a great Kerry Dixon fan and even got involved in his fan club (partly because it was run by a female athlete who was a bit of a looker but I can't remember her name , possibly Kathy Taylor?).
So I don't begrudge him the Chelsea glory years as he has been a season ticket holder since the days of Chelsea playing in what is now The Championship.
The good thing is that he has kept a strong interest in Reading and still goes to some of our games, even Kidderminster away, so Kerplunk all might not be lost for you-my son had some tricky school years as a Reading fan living in the football stronghold that is Bournemouth. .
