We have so few players under contract as it is. Moore and Puscas may be on the way out already. If Joao were to go too it would only leave TMac, Meite, Southwood, Tetek and Ejaria under contract. We can’t sell all our in contract players!

We could really do with a reset though. Stop spending loads on mediocre performers who flatter to deceive.

Get in a raft of solid players, for a particular play style, on affordable contracts.

This is the key; what exactly IS the particular style of play because under Pauno we genuinely didn't seem to know (apart from the traditional European thing of slowly pass it along the back a la Barcelona, which dies a death when faced with a high press).

This is where the new Manager coming in the Summer (if it isn't Ince) will be vital; I just hope it is someone who realises our limitations as a club with the players we have and could get and adapt a style accordingly.

My priority would be making us hard to beat; we have to tighten the defence otherwise we have to score at least 2 or 3 goals every game to stand a chance of getting a result.

Barnsley have Derby next, and Stoke after that who are in terrible form.

Why are Huddersfield suddenly really good? Someone should really look in to it.

Barnsley are our nemesis. We need to fill Oakwell and get behind the team

6pt gap to Barnsley. They go to Derby next, so someone drops points.

Peterborough are gone.

Barnsley have found some form but still only clawed back 2 points over 6 games.

If everyone keeps the form over the past 8 games, we stay up by 2 points.

Derby play at Cardiff midweek. If they lose there their confidence to survive will drop massively.

Yeah. Don’t know why everyone is back to panic stations because we've lost another game. PInce has openly said he can't even try to address the issues we have until today. And we've picked up points anyway.

Yes, the faith in TInce and the late subs are a concern... although we were actualy doing alright going forward. But those are the only negatives from PInce so far. Give him a chance.

We're not going to go on some crazy winning run. But as long as we don't go on another crazy losing run we'll be ok.

Well Millwall next and I strangely fancy us to get something in that one, they are a mid table side after all, then we come to three very hard games where anything over 3 points will be a bonus.
Then i think we are talking about a 8 game mini league between the bottom 4 sides. nothing to fear from any of those games.

It’s the next four games. They look very tough. Think we will lose the lot and then go to Barnsley for a crunch game in terrible form. Blackpool was a very good chance of creating a real buffer.

Defeatist. We were never going to win 3 in a row.

I don't think we'll lose 5 in a row now either.

You didn’t think we would lose the next six a few weeks ago. I’m not too confident in your Mystic Meg predictions master Royal.

I can see us losing our next few games, but I also don't think it's going to happen.

As some have mentioned, it's not necessarily about putting a string of 3/4 wins together (even though that would be massive), it's more of a case of we have to keep plugging away at the points. Saturday is disappointing but we most certainly won't be the only side at the bottom to lose a game like that either. If we can just pick up a win every 3 games and pick up the odd point here and there, we should do ok.

5 more wins and I'm convinced we will survive, I'd be confident and less sure with 4 wins but if we can pick up 2/3 draws as well, that would be crucial.

Barnsley also have Peterborough to play. The results from their games is going to have a major bearing on the final table.

It would take an almighty drop off for either of them to go down though. I don't doubt we could potentially catch them come May time and finish above them, but they are something like 13 points clear of the drop zone, I can't see Barnsley winning 5 more games than Cardiff between now and the end of the season.

You'd have to add Birmingham to that as well.
