Snowflake Royal Seems like they're essentially banking on getting another points deduction because they're going down anyway, in the hope the FL won't have the guts to kick out a big high profile club with a former England captain and top goalscorer as manager. Rather than actually paying their dues

They should be automatically relegated and then have a points deduction for next season in League 1 as well! They could have offloaded players in January to pay their debts but chose not to, in order to - yet again - shaft everybody else! Its a joke!

If being allowed to play brings in a profit for them, I can understand why they wouldn't have been kicked out. They, like everyone else, had a major revenue stream lost in no fans during the pandemic, having another season without playing and with no income on matchdays may have well and truly finished them off.

The EFL probably don't have the gut to kick them out at the moment knowing that they have some responsibility for the situation Derby are in. Of course, they can't control how Morris spent his money, but so much more could have been done to prevent such situations happening.

They turned down a multi million kind offer for Tom Laurance as well. They should have been forced to sell.
They really are a 2 faced bunch blaming the EFL for their debts. I hate seeing any club fold but that clubs behaviour and delaying tactics (which kept them up at the expense of Wycombe) are just disgusting. Bury never got as many chances, so why should they?

Allegedly they may find funding by taking out another loan on the training ground.

Surprised that is allowed when in admin, adding more debt to the pile.

Any organisation that loans to a Company in administration is mental! They would have no guarantee whatsoever that they would get their money back.

EFL has no plans to expel #dcfc from League despite administrators missing yesterday's deadline to prove funding. Admins are still assessing bids, not said anything for 10days.
I’ve been told Derby have cash for player wages and club expenses for a few weeks, but not beyond that.

Presumably the Administrators are expecting a sale to go through before the cash runs out.

If it is Ashley they are selling to, he will wait until literally the last minute, then screw them over big time by offering to buy them for virtually nothing, thus stuffing up all the creditors even more (possibly including some stipulation that the previous owners are liable for any financial hit if Wycombe are successful in their claim).

Anyway, back to matters ON the pitch let's hope that Cardiff beat them tonight.

That would also be his problem because he would be the one buying them, so it would only be him paying anyway.

The deadline is today though. The EFL statement was a "friendly" reminder.

Cardiff have got over their sickness bug and named what appears to be their strongest team tonight. They have lost ten at home this season though.....

Cardiff win all the way. They would need to lose virtually every game from here to be in real trouble.

BBC clearly gutted by that goal

If they don’t beat Barnsley next game would think that’s it for Wayne and co

Yeah. Serious bias in their reporting. Bless.
