Not often you will find consistency in a player that isn't trusted and doesn't get consistent starts. Probably another example of a player with obvious talent and ability who just couldn't settle and adapt in this league and country unfortunately. I'd have loved to have seen more of him at his best, he would have been a real asset.

3points Just seen this on LinkedIn. I'm assuming it's the same HRK

Yes I'm sure it is.
I'm not sure if she is still his girl friend or wife but he was at one time dating the daughter of Albert Barrett.
For those of you who help with the family shopping you could have noticed this name in the potato section.

A multi millionaire who might have given Hal some tips on how to run a successful business and turmeric is very much in vogue.

Bartlett.

Noted and just seen it on a pack of spuds in our garage.
Shouldn't have got the name wrong as I'm aware of their sponsorship of a race at Cheltenham.

Just as I am aware of the Corale Cup, the Ballymorey hurdle and the Martin Pipesmoker hurdle.

Snowflake Royal Still don't understand how Boye could pull off a piece of world class control and then miss his 6 yard pass by 5 yards.

Never helped him having to compete with Joao, Puscas, Meite, Baldock and to a lesser extent Loader. Joao and Puscas were big money signings and Meite ended the season before on fire. It meant there was little scope for chances to impress and I always got the impression he was trying too hard in the games he did feature in

One of the problems of having a ridiculously large squad

His main problem was being an absolute turkey on the pitch.

Sure - just making the point it’s hard as a player when there’s so much competition and realistically, isn’t much you can do to become a regular without really standing out in games, as you will generally, as aforementioned, try too hard to stand out

Using the example of Meite, who has far exceeded my expectations so hands up there, but seem to recall you being of the mindset he needed 5/6 games in a row to perform - whereas I don’t think Boye ever got more than 2 starts in a row. Especially coming from a foreign league, it isn’t ideal - so as much as his performances were poor, we didn’t exactly give him a great platform

Meite isn't the best technician, he'd generally do the basics fairly well and gradually find his feet to get more chances and do better with them.

Boye just didn’t ever do the basics.

FSB gone to Dundee has a certain ring to it.
Might have become our best ever manager if he had stayed but ended up 4th IMHO behind Coppell, Mc Dermott and Evans.

Sam Smith doing well for Cambridge - surprising a lot of people as he seemed to struggle before. Can see lower Champ teams being interested if he keeps managing to score

Rumours that he had “off field” issues though - didn’t conduct himself in a very good way so perhaps he’s matured a bit since his time here

Uche Ikpeazu scores the winner for Cardiff against Derby.

And people say our academy doesn’t provide value!

I was just thinking what a lumbering donkey he looked and how Wycombe had had Colin’s pants down when he was managing Boro…..and lo and behold!

How many more times will this happen. An ex player that doesn’t make the grade at Reading comes back to score against us. Greg Halford, Darius Henderson, now Jake Cooper. How many more?

Criminal mismanagement of a perfectly competent player at this level

or clearly is making the grade but our inept background staff miss the ability aka Stacey, Osho and our greatest ever transfer mistake Antonio.
