tidus_mi2 I think Boro could well be relegated by the time Barnsley play them, not really sure if that means they'll just roll over or if they'll play without any pressure.

Would be quite some fall from 7th

Had never heard Posh referred to as Boro before so had to do a double take.

I like the RTGness of the posters who feel that Barnsley will wilt under pressure whereas we will serenely rise to the occasion when we play them and be unaffected by any pressure.

Different people react to pressure differently .
Look at last week's Man Utd game v Athletico Madrid.
Both teams under great pressure to win but one has Harry Maguire......................................

Similarly on Saturday 2nd and 3rd in our division played each other and Bournemouth ran out easy winners when a tight game might have been expected.

I do agree with the RTGers though in that the away side probably feels under slightly less pressure because of the expectation of fans so on balance I am glad that we are playing them away.

Honestly never heard them called 'Boro before either.

'Boro has always been Middlesborough.
Peterborough have always been Posh.

windermereROYAL Had a little chuckle at QUEST making something out of nothing regarding a potential Blackburn penalty Gallagher and McIntyre got into a grappling match at a corner and the guest on the show said he gave a free kick to Reading which was probably incorrect.
Wrong, the referee blew up like they often do when they see holding just as or before the kick was taken to have a word with both players.
The corner was retaking and safely gathered by Nyland.
Thought the ref had a solid game tbh.

The guest as you politely put it is some clueless youth who got lucky with a podcast and is somehow sat on that sofa next to an ex-pro with Premier League experience: excruciating viewing! I have to watch on demand and skip forward.

Anyway, agreed on your point on that decision.

I thought Blackburn Rovers were the worst team to visit us this season - toothless and probably still couldn't find the net if they kept playing now.

Which doesn’t even make sense, because its Middlesbrough

I've definitely seen and used boro for Peterborough before for years.

I just accept both use Boro while Middlesbrough are the more famous Boro, even though they should really be the Bruh.

Just like many teams call themselves United but Manchester United are the most well-known to use it.

At the Peterborough away game I was looking forward to seeing the eccentric gent in a top hat and cane wandering around the pitch before kick off as I have seen on several occasions over the years. Had been telling my daughter to look out for it all the way there as a point of interest.

Never saw him, maybe they've dropped it for whatever reason.

Instead we were treated to some nebulous lion/cat/horse/macaw type mascot which was very disappointing.

NathStPaul The new commentator is outstanding. Pension off Dellor please.

Radio London normally, just standing in for Dellor this week

Pity.

Whilst he does do games for BBC London he's actually freelance so absolutely no reason why BBC Berkshire couldn't put a bid in for his services!

Are you serious, you guys got a decent BBCRB commentator while I was at the stinky SCL stadium?
