Correct Format and
15 Bonus Points before Midnight Monday
12 Bonus Points before 09:00 Tuesday
09 Bonus Points before 12:00 Tuesday
07 Bonus Points before 17:00 Tuesday
No Entries after Team Announced
"Win (or Draw) "From Behind" MUST BE EXPLICITLY STATED for Points
First Team to Score must be explicitly stated, the half, and goal time
EXAMPLE
Reading 1-1 Stoke HT
Reading 2-1 Stoke FT
Stoke to Score First in First Half in 17th Minute
Reading to Win from Behind
SEQUENCE
(17) Reading 0-1 Stoke
========================= HT
(39) Reading 1-1 Stoke (JOAO, alt Laurent)
(81) Reading 2-1 Stoke (Laurent, alt Swift)
REMINDER
To get points for sequence:
1 BOTH teams must score (Example 3-0 cannot win but 3-1 can)
2 Minimum of 3 goals. (Example 2-1 is lowest score that can win points. 1-1 cannot win)
3 Goals must occur in the correct sequence AND in the correct half, but times don't need to be precise.
Example.
Reading away go 1-0 down in 15th minute, equalise in 40th minute, go ahead in 45th minute
(15) Saints 1-0 Reading
(40) Saints 1-1 Reading (JOAO, alt Swift)
This is correct so far and on track for a zillion points
But
(15) Saints 1-0 Reading
(40) Saints 1-1 Reading (JOAO, alt Swift)
================================ HT
(46) Saints 1-2 Reading) (INCE, alt Ejaria)
DOESN'T win a coconut because the winning goal was predicted as second half.
This, DOES win
(01) Saints 1-0 Reading
(22) Saints 1-1 Reading (JOAO, alt Swift)
(24) Saints 1-2 Reading) (INCE, alt Ejaria)
================================== HT
NO GOALS SECOND HALF
The goals are in the right order, and in the correct half. (Exact times unimportant)
IF you get the correct sequence points you are then also eligible for bonus points for "exact time of goal", plus/minus 1 minute.
This applies to each goal individually,
So it is possible to score 40 Sequence points for a perfect 2-1, (10 plus 3 x 10)
SIXTY for a perfect 3-1 or 2-2. (20 + 4 x 10)
A perfect 4-1 would score 90 (40 + 5 x 10)
A six goal game predicted perfectly would score 60+60 = 120
(Perfectly is every goal smack on time-wise. There would be +5 for every correct Reading scorer too...
These sequence points are separate from the main prediction.
I wouldn't worry about the above very much as in three seasons we have only ever had two sequences correct!
=============================================================================================
For my prediction above
SEQUENCE
(37) Reading 1-0 Blackburn (INCE, alt JOAO)
========================= HT
(55) Reading 1-1 Blackburn
(85) Reading 2-1 Blackburn (INCE, alt Ejaria)
I would get sequence points if Reading went 1-0 up in the first half, Blackburn equalise AFTER HT, and Reading then get the winner.
I would ALSO get points for INCE if he scored the goals, and yet more if I got the times at 37-55-85, or very close
===============================================================================================
As a group we are pretty crap at predicting, but at least it's POSSIBLE for a Nobber to pick up 100/120/140 points in a game
