This season. We are where we are, and we can't change that now - so we have to take the wins.

We are rebuilding as a club, staying up is vital whilst this happens and with luck in 2 or 3 seasons time our ambition will shift from staying up to trying to get up, hopefully sustainably like Luton and not like we have done to date - else we'll be back in this mess in a few years time.

Nobody has *that* difficult of a run in on paper which makes it all the more important that we are not complacent and we make sure we pick up what is needed as soon as possible.

Barnsley having 3 of their next 4 games away from homer is telling, especially as Millwall will need a reaction after their defeat last night if they want to push for the play offs again and as Huddersfield want to consolidate a position in the play offs as well. Hopefully both them and Peterborough take points off each other in their fixture as well.

Derby have a couple of winnable home fixtures whilst having 3 away games where they may feel they can pick up something out of any/all of those 3 games, but they will need to win 5 of their remaining 6 fixtures I think.

Peterborough arguably have the most difficult run in and probably will need to win every single game to have a realistic chance of survival. Not being great on the road won't help them, but they simply have to beat Barnsley and their home games look difficult given 2 of the 3 teams are chasing the play offs. They might beat Blackpool on the last day but I think they will be down a game or two before then.

Think it's as is. They can accept relegation and take another points deduction this season, or remain deluded that they can stay up and take a big deduction in L1. Hopefully the latter.

That's my personal preference, so the cheating swines get exactly what they deserve. As for this season, they're done. That's too much to make up with just 6 games to go. Their next three games are brutal.

QPR have hit a brick wall won 2 and lost 7 of their last 10 games.

That's my personal preference, so the cheating swines get exactly what they deserve. As for this season, they're done. That's too much to make up with just 6 games to go. Their next three games are brutal.

Their two away fixtures are against a mid table Swansea (granted in form) and QPR who are well out of form and Fulham at home, but Derby are pretty strong at home.

I can't see them getting something from all 3 fixtures, but I don't think they will lose all 3 either and I wouldn't be surprised if they were to win a couple of them.

It is too late to have points off now this year, I believe.

Any further points will only be deducted if the deal to leave admin is less than EFL minimums and only once the deal to bring the club out of admin is concluded.

It's an unpredictable away game where Derby could be all but beaten at that point. Swans and Fulham before hand too. That's tough!

It will be interesting to see how this now pans out. When Kirchner got to this stage with Preston and due diligence started he submitted two lower offers than the one that got him to the due diligence stage. I'm assuming he cited financial reasons having seen the full finances of the club. At the end of the exclusive period Preston pulled the plug.....

It is already known that the offer is below what the administrators want and he could yet reduce that further....then we'll see how desperate the administrators are.....
