You sound like karbota

He clearly adds plenty to the side - granted sounds like he had a shit game last night and was rightly pulled

I'd argue you are the racist if you think my comment has anything to do with him being black. It has everything to do with him not being a good fit for our club at this moment in time and due to him being sulky and workshy.

Didn’t mention anything about race or racism. Just the ‘he must be sold’ and idiotic comment about fanboys

Well Karbota is a known racist who bases all of his comments on race and specifically has an agenda against black people. Disagree with me by all means but don't compare me to that racist bellend. He is on ignore, I wouldn't even know what he'd been saying about Ejaria in recent times.

Nath, you're no racist mate.

I think the point is expressing your (reasonable - even I disagree) opinion by suggesting those who disagree are fanboys , usual suspects, he must be sold etc etc.. It's your opinion and that's fine and I can understand them. And the rest of us have different opinions. Footy is all about opinions. It's all good.

I am many things but I'm not racist and I am also not white so it is a bizarre thing for Hound to imply.

Oh ffs, never said or implied you were racist

Just making the same absolute statements such as ‘he must be sold’, and the fanboys nonsense

But sure you know that anyway. And I’m sure you wouldn’t like to make posts that read similar to Karbotas so hoepfully you’ll take on board

And fwiw karbota hasn’t said anything about Ejaria’s race or colour in his posts either

In his defence, OMA did say Karbota is a known racist and has an agenda against black people to which you replied “pretty much the same as you” so I think there’s the confusion

Yeah that is what got my goat. Karbota has a known agenda agaisnt players or managers of colour.

Ok I meant that in response to the comment ‘ I wouldn’t know what karbota was posting about Ejaria’

Hope that helps clears the confusion

I know you aren’t a racist oma and karbota pretty clearly is and doesn’t deny it.

Just going to bring an outbreak of "wokism" onto the board.
(1) Scientific studies have shown that commentators and fans alike perceive black players differently to white players - for instance, they are more likely to use the words lazy and sulky about a black player than a white player. Similarly they are more likely to rate black players as athletic and strong, but less likely to rate them as being able to read the game.
Anybody watching the effort Ejaria was putting in last night and still calling him lazy - that rings some alarm bells. I've heard similar for Joao.
Not going to lie, I was EXTREMELY irritated with Ejaria last night - but he's definitely not lazy.
(2) Using "raping" to describe football is teenage idiot boy stuff. It's horrible. Cop on, and cut it out.

Well on

(1) Agreed Ejaria isn't lazy - he's fancy dan schoolground player who over complicates everything with tricks and trying to beat players for the sake of it. Joao isn't lazy either (but he can be sulky!)

(2) Absolutely. The poster has a bit of a reputation for quality control issues but this is pretty low even for him.

You can expect attendances at all grounds to start to drop with the vast increases in fuel, energy and food.

Yep the word “lazy’” and black players does seem to go hand in hand. Ovie is far from lazy. He seems to be very low on confidence though. His performance last night was way below what I would expect from him.

I would say that Ejaria and Joao both have a physicality at times, Ejaria much more so, that is quite ... relaxed looking. I'd say languid but without or lazy in appearance, without any of the actual lack of effort that goes with it. Deceptively languid maybe.

Leigertwood was similar.

I think that often gets mistaken for actual lack of effort. They definitely aren’t lazy.

Can't think of a white player example off the top of my head.. other than my mate Mike... who is actually lazy quite a bit of the time as well.

Maybe its the number 14 shirt. I seem to remember another player wearing number 14 for us, who blew a bit hot and cold, was sometimes called lazy, was sometimes (mostly) maddeningly frustrating, but on his day was an absolute world beater...

More uncoordinated than lazy... at first. :D

Nothing languid about Jimmy.

Thanks for that observation I have repeatedly been accused of that from the Remaoner Lefties on this forum (seems like they cannot stomach the alternative view), when I have asked for examples of my racist comments = Silence is the bold reply !
