Royal Rother Most of us would take some pleasure from Everton going down but seeing them beat Man Utd has given me a nice warm glow.

Yeah feel the same. So want Everton relegated but just had to piss myself at United losing.
Still there no end in site for their shitness, Their new manager I reckon will carry on the current tradition.

…even the African villages are discarding their Man U shirts for Fulham ones.

The radio commentator yesterday (after going OTT in references to the Grand National) made the point that between them over the past 10 years Everton and Man Utd had spent over £1.5,BILLION on players and yet were producing a game not worthy of the so-called Premier League.

A very important result for Everton and they will watch the result of the Norwich v Burnley game today with more than a little interest.
Big result also for Leeds and Watford with the latter now looking doomed.

Man United fans are lucky. Brobot can seamlessly switch to Liverpool, whereas we are stuck with fcking Reading

Both terribly run clubs

Utd have 4 of the top 5 paid players in the prem and 10 of the top 30...usually, that'd mean you had the best team

So much deadwood at the club that they'll have difficulty shifting due to wages etc

Isn’t Pogba’s contract up at the end of this season ?

Yep and there's every chance they'll offer 500 bags a week to keep him...purely to protect the investment

I'd say it was time to split up amicably...best for both parties

Franchise FC As a few of us have pointed out, they need to be spending half a billion to be even close to really competitive at the top end

It appears I was wrong.

If Rangick thinks they need 10 players ( ) that’s going to be closer to a billion

So the Dutch fella gets to bring his assistant in, but has to work with the existing coaches (SSN). So much for an overhaul.

Ten Hag confirmed.

Really risky appointment IMO.

Really interesting that they’re using a line that his best year was 2019

If that’s true, then I agree, it’s quite risky

Manchester United were idiots for not going after Conte when he became available. Crazy to pass him up.

United are a good 5 years behind Liverpool and City, and probably around £750m in players as well. I don't see United having the patience to give Haag the time he'll need. He'll probably get a couple of years and lay the ground-work for the next guy.

Always found it really interesting* that Gary Neville was adamant that United wouldn't go for Conte. From the outside he appears to have everything they need to turn it around.

Wonder why that was? Doesn't stick around long enough? Not interested in bringing youth players through? Too volatile after they struggled with van Gaal and Mourinho's egos? Love to know.

No way that's a pen

Surprised the ref didn't actually take it

Just seen the replay...

If that was a pen then the other one was defo handball

I suppose running on your hands is a natural position

If Arsenal win then fair enough but not because of the ref
