Great low ish cross through the six yard box between keeper and defence. Laurent was towards the back post, and if he'd anticipated or gambled and sprinted in for it, he maybe would have got a tap in. Instead he was a few yards deep.

Yes, but I’m not sure what that has to do with the next reading manager?

Yep, he's doing well and earning the right to be in the conversation at the very least. Let's finish the job off on Monday and send 2 of them down if we can, be good to back today up with a win.

I'll still maintain I think we need someone else, but he's putting a good case forward for the position full time. For consistencies sake, it might be a good move. I'm not sure how much of this comes down to just a change in management after Pauno left along with the situation we are in now where we are battling for our lives, but I'm sure that plays a part in our form, but it shouldn't take away the job Ince has done thus far.

Ince has earned the right, but does he want it knowing what is still forthcoming?

He has put out some good signals to the Sunderlands and Bradfords of the world.

On recent showings, I’d happily have him here to sort the mess.

Surely we go for Shaun Dyche. Quality Manager with proven history of premier league promotion. We would be mad not to try.

If Ince was named Paulo Inçe everyone would be oxf*rd themselves silly over him. I wasn't convinced by him, but he's done more than enough to have a stab at it full time.

Setting results aside a second, he's addressed most of the main problems we had. That's what has me most positive. Obviously that's not great without the results, but it's the key thing for me.

Aye. They scored with just their second shot on target, first coming a minute earlier. We actually looked solid today. And then bounced back rather than lying down and conceding again.

Was going to post at 1-0 how comfortable it all was. They really didn’t threaten at all until we lost concentration at the end

Let him have a go.

The worst that can happen is that we go down like we would have this year.

Shouldn't happen. Noone is saying he's going to be great just that he deserves a chance. He'll be gone by Xmas if he's crap.

WOW, Wrexham narrows the gap as Stockport loses to Grimsby. Surely it's got to be Parky.
