I agree with the judgement but not the sentiment. (I.e. I would like to see Pep and Man City win the CL.)

Crazy that that was a total mismatch for 3/4 of the tie and yet somehow became a mismatch the other way around for the other 1/4. You do wonder why Villareal didn't even try a bit like they did in the first half last night in the first leg?

Anyway, Madrid in the final would be nice so Mo can get revenge for 2018, just a shame the thug Ramos isn't there any more

I have only heard pundits talk of the quadruple rather than anyone at Liverpool, but I do wonder how much they are starting to think about it

8 games left. All but 1 (CL final) look like they would go into them as firm favourites. A small bit of luck with City dropping points in one league game and it could happen

I think it's all very tough to call (hark at Michael Owen up there etc) but tonight is massive. If Citeh win through I can see them perhaps taking their eye off the ball in the league. Personally think the cup final is Liverpool's most straightforward game of the 6 left.

Liverpool didn't qualify for this season's Champions League until the final game of last season, and now they are in the final. Seems bizarre to think that without a headed goal by Alisson at an empty Hawthorns they wouldn't be in it at all, given the season they have subsequently had.

I heard reference recently to Man Utd finishing 2nd last season and I was all 'whaaaa?' and checked it out and yes they did. I think last season completely passed me by. I assumed Man City & Liverpool have been neck and neck for about 4 years now, whiel Man Utd have been around 6th
