purleyroyal Got my ticket - but see despite booking particular seats it’s unreserved seating (according to the PDF print)
Not sure if that’s good or bad.
cannot see seating being too much of an issue tbf…dependant on how much of the stadium they open-up, sales weren’t ‘selling-out’ last time I looked.

Suz, Ian Royal, Tulip, DD, EiL and the man on the roof ……..c’mon down !!!

Worra bout comrade leonski?

It's shaping up to be a really special day, with so many fan favourites back, and also Hal Robson-Kanu :D

I am also told that Noel is meant to be playing. Nothing official come out though.

Nameless Also looking forward to it. Really hope that they are holding back announcing Harps, Sidwell and Shorey to pretty much complete the 106 line up.
How will they bulk out the McDermott side ? Will they let Tom Mc and Tom H join in as local lads ?

Not sure on Shorey but heard Harper (holiday) & Sidwell (media commitments) are both absentees along with Kitson

I hope this sells lots more tickets in the next couple of days. It’s a good idea and one which I hope our support would buy into. I don’t reckon we have sold more than 4,000 to date looking at seat availability online,

Yeah, at a piffle of £10 a ticket, 4k would be a bit of a travesty.

Aren’t you on the concessions rate now Zippers?

Yes I am. They offer discounted prices to those supporters deemed good looking. Fortunately I fall into this category 8)

Far more interested in this than any of this season's offerings. Surprised by the low turnout. Do people really prefer to watch Reading vs Preston mid season than the biggest legends Reading has ever produced in what should be nice weather?

Heard a rumour that it's closer to 6,000 now. Can't believe it's not double that, make a nice change going to the Mad Stad with a guarantee of entertainment. Our two greatest ever teams*, absolutely legendary managers, £10 entry, money going to charity and people can't be bothered. :|

*well most of them

^yep

Pleasantly shocked with the amount of players that have put themselves up for it…great show from star turns and bit-part players alike :)

Yep I would have expected at least 10k. Really disappointing. Let’s hope there are plenty who turn up on the day as the forecast is good.

The other good thing about this game is that you would expect Reading to get at least a draw, if not a victory. Though on the flip side Reading are likely to lose or possibly get a draw.

Fairly sure they have publicised it as £15 on the day. Which would suggest theTO will be open for sales.

I’m sure I saw £15 but that might have been. Dream...
Actually I wonder whether they were advertising it at £15 but have taken that down so they can try and boost spur of the moment attendance ?
