Royal Rother Apart from the goal that Southampton performance in the 1st half was just abysmal.
If Liverpool had their 1st team out this could be one of those 9-0 losses Southampton seem to churn out on a regular basis.

The manager has been under a bit of pressure from fans of late so perhaps being a bit over-cautious..
It's the Curbishley syndrome where a middle of the road team and club believe they should be doing better than they are and have ideas above their station.
The Saints production line of home grown youngsters has dried up a bit of late and the club spends very little on signings..
Regardless of my personal feelings I would like to see Liverpool win to take the battle, in theory , to the last game.
Otherwise, depending upon Burnley and Everton results on Thursday there might not be anything much for teams to play for on the final Sunday.

How the mighty have fallen eh?
Still, another new manager, another £billion of transfers and 4th spot could be achievable.

You have already tried that approach and it didn't work so not sure what the plan will be now.
Long may the failure continue.
