Whore Jackie URZZZZ Wonder if there’s any regret on the part of Klopp for not going for it a little bit more against City/Spurs a few weeks back?
You've said this a few times now. Did you watch those games? Struggling to see how Liverpool could have done much more against the champions and a very-good-against-the-top-teams CL qualifying Spurs. They came from behind 3 times across those 2 games, both were absolutely fair results. Those were the only points they dropped in the league since their draw away to Chelsea at the turn of the year. If you're going to try and pick out one match, then chucking away 2 points against Brighton when 2-0 up at home, is a better bet.
Well yeah, it’s easier said than done of course against two top sides and in isolation, respectable points (more than respectable against City) but from past experience, City just never seem to drop points when it comes to the crunch (I.e risk of dropping their place)
Not throwing on Origi when the game plan against Spurs involved cross after cross for example was odd given how he’d changed the game in the previous home game but instead bringing on a CM and a LB for example
Sure Klopp knows a little bit more than myself
but even the best are always thinking of ways to improve. Or maybe I’m just bitter because I really don’t like City!
