Whore Jackie Salah and Firmino for me are the hardest to replace. Mane's been exceptional, but in Diaz and Jota there's already 2 ready-made left-sided replacements. Liverpool seems perfectly set-up for Salah, think he'd struggle more in a different team than Mane would, if they ever left.

Firmino hasn't really featured this season has he? Would think he is extremely replaceable and I'll be amazed if he is still at Liverpool come August.

Hound Anyone else think it’s slightly bizarre Liverpool doing a open bus tour after scraping an FA cup and league cup win?
not really that exciting to be worth that, esp a couple of days after losing the champ league final

Nope. Winning FA Cup alone creates tradition to do an open top bus parade and as said above - they won another.

I can understand why a small club would do it. Don't think the bigger clubs would

Hound Yeah that really. If it was Leicester of course go for it, but not a team who have the squad which is far superior to almost any other team in Europe

Maybe it was more about a fantastic season when they were fighting on 4 different fronts, won 2 of them and came runners-up in the other 2.
That in total IMHO makes it quite a special season.

Special season winning 2 cups that teams barely bother about until the QFs. And both on penalties
Sorry you can’t celebrate ‘almost’. Or you shouldn’t imo

I don't get all the fuss or any need to justify a bus ride.
They and the people of Liverpool obviously thought that the team had done rather well this season so why not do what they have done?
Perhaps other clubs could look at the connect of the club of team and manager with the local community and learn from it.
