The Scots just didn't turn up last night and the one tactic just seemed to be to get the ball to Robertson and hope that he could do something-there wasn't much "up and at 'em" until it was far too late.
A pity they didn't win and Wales will have to be on their game to get a result on Sunday.

I will be gutted if we lose but if it has to be to any country let it be to Ukraine. You may not have been to the CCS for a Wales international. The atmosphere is special anyway. On Sunday it will be off the scale. Try and get into the stadium early because the bulld up will be great plus parking is a nightmare.

Enjoy. Whatever happens you will remember being at this game.....especially the pre match rendition of Yma O’ Hyd by Daffyd Iwan. That will have me close to tears.

A question possibly for Uke but is there perhaps just a bit of resentment back in Ukraine that none of their national side has volunteered to join the fight against Russia or do they see it that this is a positive distraction from the dreadful things going on there.?

FWIW ,and it was over a much longer period, but during WW2 professional footballers, Matt Busby, Bill Shankly et al were called up to the forces but I have no idea how much actual fighting they did.

The Klitchko brothers seem to be actively involved and we saw those millions of young wives and children entering Poland and their husbands left behind to fight if they were between (?) 18-60 or whatever the age range.
At the beginning BBC followed 2 young students who had no experience but felt it was their duty to sign up and they were immediately in the firing line .

As for the upcoming game I expect Wales to offer more of a challenge than the Scots did and, with what is at stake and we saw that Ukraine were a bit on the dirty side the other night, I shall probably have a bet on the bookings.

The Kyiv, Shaktar, etc. players have all been called up but are not “frontline” yet. They are doing a lot of visiting wounded and supporting further back from the frontline
