Apparently Nyland had a blinder the other night in helping his country to a famous victory.

You were referring to the peace sign?

To my knowledge Nazis don't also put the other hand across the upper lip, that's more of a Fawlty Towers-esque pisstake of Nazis.

Who cares, let's just cancel. It's fun!

I wasn't being entirely serious, it was a joke aimed in Zip's direction and anyway, it was more his feeble excuse that bothered me at the time than his actual gesture. He did something dumb and didn't have the bollocks to put his hands up and say "fair cop".

With Nick Pope likely to leave Burnley you'd think Hennessey might get a chance to be number 1. He is also under contract for another season I believe so the best we could do is a loan deal. Burnley have another decent keeper on their books in Bailey Peacock Farrell, was out on loan at Sheffield Wednesday last season and did ok. Wouldn't say no.

That’s 3 keepers isn’t it?

If he can fit that on the back of his shirt he must take up the whole goalmouth.

Kelleher at Liverpool is talking about being loaned out.

Do we have any contacts at Anfield ?
Oh wait, our manager used to play there
Paul, get on the phone, 'cos this one would be particularly acceptable

(And yes, I realise there'll be a long queue for him if he is loaned out, but at least he'd get plenty of action with us )

I could see Kelleher being loaned to a PL club. He was a bit shaky when he first came onto the scene, probably because he looked too small in the goals at first, but he seems to be maturing with each performance and in the last couple of seasons has been very impressive when called upon. I could see a newly promoted team going in for him.

Thinking about it, Leeds might be a good option

Yeah potentially, I've never rated Meslier anyway really, I think he looks poor most of the time I see him play, just looks like a weak goalkeeper but most of my biased Leeds mates seem to think he's the next big thing.

Brice Samba wants to leave Nottingham Forest.

Wouldn't take him if he paid us.

Surprised he wants to leave given his status there, especially after the play off victory as well.

The imminent arrival of Nick Pope might have something to do with that :)

He is completely usless. He was dropped midseason if I remember rightly but eventually won his place back. Nowhere near Premier League quality.

He missed 6 games all season, 3 of which were due to suspension and the other 3 he was on the bench, so he's been pretty consistent throughout the season in terms of appearances.

I've never thought he would ever be good enough for that level, I questioned him a season or two ago when they first signed him. I can imagine he would go somewhere better than us anyway.

He managed 6 yellow cards and a red card last season, an ill-disciplined goalkeeper?
