Sutekh Thinking that currently only Rinomhota might still be an injury worry though wasn’t Meite sidelined again at the end of the season or was that just rest so he’d be raring to go for preseason?

He better be raring to go ‘cos he’s going to have to play at least three positions at the moment
Actually, that’s a thought. If we could find a couple of Ngolo Kante’s that would solve six positions

Sutekh And the injury curse is starting early yet again, this time Liam Moore has a knee injury and will miss the first months of the season. So not only is that one defensive option down but also means he’s unlikely to move on in this window.

Paying off Moore wouldn’t help financially though. If we are paying him anyway we may as well have him as an option.
Although my prediction is he will have a series of minor injuries that prove very difficult to resolve and last through until January when he gets loaned out to a US. Club.

blythspartan What bad news. It’s not his fault that he gets the salary he gets but this could scupper some of our recruitment plans. Fair enough if he’s fit and Ince wants to utilise him but if he’s out for months and being paid big bucks that’s a really tough break for us.

Stranded Months makes it sound pretty serious. Best for all if he leaves but don't wish a bad injury on the bloke. We gave him the contract after all.
We could pay him off I.e. come to a deal where we pay him 50% of his last year and leave him free to get a deal wherever and whenever he is fit i.e. if he is fit in October he can move then rather than have to wait until Jan but also allow him to rehab at Bearwood til then.

I don't think we may as well have him as an option. He's not very good and at this point the club is toxic to him and he is toxic to the club.
Hey guys, you know none of you could get a decent pay rise from us and we negotiated hard on your salary? And you know you've been performing well?
Here's a guy we don't want who hasn’t performed well for a couple of years and is paid three times your salary. Hope you get on well!

Of course it's his oxf*rd fault. He and his agents negotiated for it, getting it by trying to force a transfer. And he's perfectly capable of agreeing a pay cut. Yes Dai shouldn’t have agreed it, it takes two to tango and they should both oxf*rd off.
