Silver Fox
PATRIQT Swansea at home on Boxing Day... I can't see any problems with crowd trouble at all.

Like how it wasn't an issue in 2012?

Anyway, can't be bothered with boxing day football so I'll probably give it a miss, much rather get the home fixture on NYD

Massive +1. Who can be arsed to leave the house on Boxing Day?

Having a look at those fixtures, the toughest month we've got is January, all of the rest don't look too bad on paper, guess we will see where teams are when we play them though.

It's nice to know we can't be any worse off in our opening 2 games compared to last season, worst case scenario we will be equal to last season.

Birmingham and West Brom away around Christmas is great for me. Blackpool and Preston also on favourable days to coincide with trips to the Lancs based in laws

Blackpool, Rotherham, Sheff United, Blackburn, Preston and Huddersfield are all favourable for me.

Looks like I'll be missing out on Wigan, Sunderland, Burnley, Hull and Middlesbrough unless my plans change on those dates. Shame because I really wanted to go to Sunderland as well this year, here is hoping I get a free weekend to do so.

Will be amazed if we're not top 6 by the end of August.

Lol @ Hudds v Burnley being the first televised game. Couldn't have picked a duller fixture, other than the other televised games - Boro v WBA and Watford v Sheff Utd. At least Sunderland v Cov is semi interesting.

You'll be flying back over for home games?

Depends if they clash with the Arkansas Razorbacks fixtures. #GoHogs

Reasonable start to get some points on the board which means we’ll get a bigger price on us to get relegated when we do fall to shit

From first glance October looks tricky and 7 games in April will decide a few issues.
Hopefully we will have less injuries this season and most of the players will have a month off in the Autumn.

It kinda is, Kenilworth Road for £32 or whatever they'll charge this season.

A birthday in Luton isn't something anyone deserves.

The World Cup break might do us some good this season depending on what our form is like. Expecting to be near the bottom, so results and confidence may not be great for most of the season, so breaking it up during the middle of the season and having the majority of our players in and around where we can work on certain things to improve over the festive period might be a telling factor.

With us playing a whole month's worth of fixtures before the window closes, as much as the first 3 games are important, we probably won't have our finalised squad by that point, it's important we can get a few signings or loans in as quickly as possible.

Already looking forward to a night under the lights at the Mad Stad for the mighty Millers of Rotherham on Feb 14th :D . Cold, wet and we know it will be an awful game, drawing 1-1.

This is a dull division, you should know that by now.

Stranded
windermereROYAL Why are we back post World cup on December 10th when the PL are not back till boxing day?

Because there is more chance of a large number of PL based players being involved in the latter stages - less likely in the Champ. Plus there are 8 more games to fit in.

EFL clubs will still be able to request a postponement if they are missing 3 players - we are likely only to have Yiadom at the WC and will only be missing him if Ghana get to quarter finals or further, which is unlikely.
