Winston Biscuit Bowyer sacked by Birmingham
Why wait 2 months after the season to sack him?!
” The board of directors believe this to be the necessary course of action and have acted swiftly ahead of the 2022-23 campaign," read a Blues statement.

If they aren't relegated next season I'll be amazed.

ReadingGlasses The rumour I saw for the timing of Bowyer's sacking was that a clause in his contract meant that his compensation for being fired would be a lot less in his final year. They were just waiting for it to tick over to being just less than one year left and then fire him.

Preferring to lose 2 months of summer planning and pre season training rather than paying compensation to an outgoing manager should set off some real alarm bells for brum fans. Problem is there are so many alarm bells going off at that club already this one would have just added to the general alarmy bell sound that rings all day and night there
