Kit = bang average with ugly sleeves
Message = PR win for the clubs social media pages

Conclusion = won’t be buying it for my Monday Night Football as I don’t like the design but applaud the club for another PR win after the traction they got from Twenty’s Plenty. Hoping the away shirt will be worth a purchase.

It is ugly and the message is tinged with hypocrisy, but I’m fairly certain I’ll find myself defending it to fans of other teams.

Royals fans can talk smack about it but none of you other fcukers.

He doesn't seem to be getting many sympathetic comments

'Is nothing sacred?'

What the actual frick is he on about? Since when have football shirts been 'sacred', and even more so does he really believe that climate change is some kind of 'woke leftie' concern?

Thankfully I avoid GB News and its fleet of knob-end presenters/contributors and whenever I see stuff from them it just confirms they're all tub-thumping nutters.

JC Has anybody seen a picture of the back of the shirts yet? Will we be able to read the names and numbers this season

Imagine if the numbers were in climate change colours as well

Ya man Eddie reckons the away kit will also be climate change themed. Hoping for just a whole kit of those stripes <3

Why? What if it’s orange? Did we wear our away kit there last season?

I'm hearing that next year's kit could scale down from saving the world and draw on local issues.

One idea being seriously discussed is a to create awareness about the non completion of Reading's inner distribution road by having one sleeve shorter than the other.

Sounds like the away kit is going to cause a bit of upset too. The political theme continues...

I'm sure there will be a blue set available this year as we'll need them on a few occasions.

The blue and white hoops are from the last ice age when Reading decided it needed to tell the world how cold it was getting.

Last week I saw a picture of a Reading shirt on Twitter that was just those climate change stripes top to bottom. I thought it was a joke at the time but now it seems not. That it looked a strange mix of light blue and pinkish reds, rather than a defined colour would make a third kit seem necessary.
