windermereROYALpaultheroyal I love the, we were rubbish but so were they comments....The second half was so poor (both us and them). We had no shape at all and no control of the ball, creating very little. That said, neither did they…..A game to forget. And one that we really should have taken something from as Reading were as poor as we were.
I`m a bit thick (I know I know ) but how do you get the quote captions when posting from other sites?

He seemed to decide I like sitting on the fence years ago, as if trying to be balanced should be a problem, and has a sly, or not so sly, pop every now and then. He's a bit obsessed with the radio myth. Then he tries to play innocent about it.
I have no patience for it, and am happy to reciprocate openly.

One of their fans chucking the ball at BB? That's not on.
Great Rovers support here tonight.
Top of the league get thrashed by Reading, shows how shit the league is,full of average sides.
Once I've calmed down, I'll admit that Reading did a lot of things right tonight.
But right now, I couldn't tell you the last time we were this atrocious.
How on earth have we been tactically out thought by Paul Ince?
Paul Ince did an excellent job on us. No doubt advised by his ex-ManU mate Steve Bruce after the West Brom match, he had Reading in our faces from the kick-off and they kept it up for the full 90 minutes. I've never seen a Rovers team bullied and intimidated like that in 50 years' watching. Our nice boys just sank back and wilted
I'm not sure of the Rovers turnout but there were lots of empty spaces and I've never heard Rovers fans so quiet. We were/are top of the league so they had plenty to sing about but it was all very odd. Reading fans loved it....."top of the league, you're having a laugh"
I walked out the ground before the end I was so disgusted …. And I’ve never done that in 60 years watching football
Have to say, we got absolutely bullied last night.
Hoilett destroyed Pickering, who I would be looking to sell.

Hound Think the ones blaming their squad depth are my favourites. Did they see our bench?

Oh how we'd love to bring experience players on like Dack and Gallagher.

Really ?
On the basis of last night I’m not sure I’d put them on our bench….

Basket case Reading thrashing Blackburn after their perfect start is just one of those results that the Championship seems to throw up week on week.
The relegation battle is going to be interesting, the pre season favourites such as Rotherham and Reading have started quite well.
Luton and Huddersfield might be fearful?
I still feel free things will settle to a more predictable shape after ten games or so. Norwich, Burnley and Boro will start moving up, Rotherham and Reading will move down and Blackburn will settle somewhere in the middle of the table.
Having said that, West Brom appear to have carried their mediocrity over from last season and there are reasons to think Luton and Huddersfield could have much poorer seasons this time around. Nice to have the unpredictability whilst it lasts and it would be nice if - at the very least - there are no runaway teams in the top two places who steamroll the league. (Unless its us!)
You have to hand it to Ince - he looked at how we play and got his players to do a brilliant job on us. We were 2nd best from start to finish. It was like watching a Mowbray team - Ayala etc passing it around to no purpose at the back and Reading just sitting back and waiting for us to give the ball away
The other managers in the league will have been watching and will have taken note.
