Franchise FC
SouthDownsRoyal Another good performance from Rashford.

For MR read Jack Wilshere. Plateaued just at the time that the truly world class kick on.

It’s not that he’s really bad, but just hasn’t progressed or maybe even regressed a little

At least Wilshere had injuries galore and er.....other issues.
Time to add Rashford to the camp occupied by others promoted above their station, e.g. Harry Winks, Hudson-Odoi, Ross Barkley etc.?

Gary Neville's face was a picture when he was asked for his thoughts on this transfer yesterday.

How the mighty have fallen - although Rabiot will be a good signing, and an even better one at £15m, if that goes through.

Who struts around the pitch with no self-awareness, getting sent off as many times as he does something brilliant?

Who’s a better option than Marcus Rashford?

It's incredible that players won't go there. They really have fallen......from a great height.
All they have to cling onto is a 38 year old who doesn't press and clearly upsets the dressing room and costs them 500 grand a week.
How long I've waited to see this.

It mystifies me why Rashforn is kept there. I'm convinced it's because of his high profile outside of football.
Can't think of any other reason. He offers them nothing.
Had he been anyone else he would have been shipped out ages ago.

Harsh on Hudson-Odoi, he hasn't had much a chance in recent times and has really fallen out of favour, would be convinced that, in another top side, he would do really well because I think he's at that level, particularly with how well he progresses the ball. Rashford may be another. Arsenal used to be the club for the other top clubs' "cast offs", but that seems to have moved on.

I can imagine that Hudson-Odoi and Rashford would excel elsewhere.

Jesus, Zinchenko?

Hudson-Odoi would certainly be a better option that that waste of space Pepe.

Weren’t people saying the same things about the likes of Alli?

Not sure CHO has the right attitude. Head down too quickly, bit of a sulker, end product poor

We’re not talking about a kid either anymore with Rashford, nearly 25 and been poor for a while now with no signs of recovery

Further on Hudson-Odoi I may be influenced by my son, a Chelsea regular  , who has never rated him and feels that he just runs up blind alleys.
Loftus-Cheek could also be added to our list-he went to Fulham where he should have stood out as an England international but didn't.

I wonder what Christian Eriksen's thinking.

Just seen this on a United forum

I though Chris Sutton was being a cheeky Pcunt predicting a 3-0 Brentford win. Turns out he's just shit at predictions

This is what happens when you put a Dutch P.E teacher in charge, the job is way too big for him. His answer to the crisis there is to sign inept players from the Dutch league? Give me a break.

Not ten Haag's fault really. They've been reduced to the status of also rans. Who of any world class abilty would pick them over a dozen other clubs in Europe.
