Zip We saw the “highlights” package for Lumley and it was incredible how many shocking errors he made. This is a dreadful signing as a lot of us feared.
I don’t see opposition teams gift us the goals that our keepers repeatedly gift to them.
This is massively disappointing.

He looked decent last week. This week we would have been better off with no keeper..

Millsy McIntyre's marking for the first goal - nonexistent.

Same for the second iirc, didn't stay with him.

First goal, McIntyre was there, just beaten iirc. And the second wasn't marking either, it was pace.

Yet totally unsurprising.

Many of us protested.

Only Reading fans can perform the sorts of mental gymnastics needed to suggest an proven error-prone keeper may be a good idea in a struggling side.

Boro fans seemed more than happy he was release. Can see why.

Snowflake Royal FYI those saying we didn't need pace in defence, that Washington goal at the near post is what happens, because he completely outpaced McIntyre.

Should have absolutely been back but, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the central CB supposed to stay deeper in a back 3? Like, cover for situations exactly like that? We are completely overrun in midfield though.

Yep second was pace.

First yes he was there just oddly didn't seem to time his jump.

Frankly, we've had shit defenders for ages now and are wondering why we let in early goals every game.

Looks like David Pruton was right after all. The first team players are exhausted from watching the U21s play Stevenage on Tuesday night.

He'd not done anything much that wasn't fairly routine and you could see his cavalier approach to 'commanding' his box and the risks he took in passing.

McIntyre's the LCB. oxf*rd knows what they're supposed to be doing, because the defensive and defensive midfield shape has been toss at the start of every single game

Fuming and far from happy. We should never have signed this lad. No homework was done here.

I agree, but my point was the RCB and LCB play wider and further forward in a back 3 than they usually would in a back 4. The 3rd CB is supposed to cover both right? Be the totally defensive minded player?
