I dreamed we won this 6-1, maybe I got the scores reversed.

NathStPaul Got to feel for Lumley. You don't get over an error like that in a hurry. No point in piling on to him, helps nothing.

I don’t feel sorry for him. He’s a professional oxf*rd goal keeer. Zero excuses.

Who here has stated they're happy with the situation?

Ian for one has got a stiffy

Not happy, but it's pretty funny. If we can't do well, I'll take what I can get from the shit thanks. Especially after the shit Southwood got and glory Lumley was heralded with despite the clear catalogue of errors on a highlights reel and the warnings from Boro fans.

NewCorkSeth Should have absolutely been back but, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the central CB supposed to stay deeper in a back 3? Like, cover for situations exactly like that? We are completely overrun in midfield though.

McIntyre's the LCB. oxf*rd knows what they're supposed to be doing, because the defensive and defensive midfield shape has been toss at the start of every single game

I agree, but my point was the RCB and LCB play wider and further forward in a back 3 than they usually would in a back 4. The 3rd CB is supposed to cover both right? Be the totally defensive minded player?

Ok, but he was central. And it's Holmes, who also has no pace.

All I was reading about yesterday after the Fans Forum was how we'd 'turned the corner" .

Now we're back to "fold the club" after 45 minutes.

I have not seen a highlights package as bad as Lumley’s. Southwood made three or for bad errors. This guy made well over a dozen.

Any confidence Southwood had that might have earned him a recall is probably shot to pieces now. That loan move was not good.

Tbf Southwood was conceding 4 goals pretty much every time he stepped on the pitch over a sustained period of time and has already shipped 7 in one game this season so not sure he's the answer.

Lumley has had a shocking 10 minutes but we've no idea how it's going to pan out from here. My concern is his reaction to it , he seems utterly shot but I'd prefer not to write him off after one game when he's been pretty good in the previous two

We've been pretty shit all over the pitch here.

Talk is cheap. And maybe we have turned a corner. Rather than travelling parallel near relegation, we're now heading straight at it.

Good news. We've found this season's scapegoat after only a couple of games.

Dirk, do you really think someone who has made clear, dreadful, errors is being scapegoated? You know a scape goat is blamed for the faults of others, not their own, right?

And that's 4 with another dreadful Lumley error.

Get him off the pitch.

Slow defender beaten by pace again.
