Maybe a bit of a shame that both the Stoke and Sunderland jobs have gone (assuming he doesn't go for the Sunderland job that is) as that might have been a decent fit for him. There will be more that open up in the Championship, West Brom might be one if their results don't start picking up.
They'll be an opening at Villa in a few weeks.
I can't see Villa being an option for him personally. I think he's a decent manager but I don't think he's done enough at Fulham or Bournemouth to warrant a job like Villa, where the ambition there is that they are a team/club that should be consistently top 10 minimum and then breaking into Europe.
I still think he sits at the level where he will be at a promotion chasing Championship club and then looking to keep them in the PL if he takes them up.
