I’ll be surprised whenever Azeez is fit again. Or at least manages more than 45m

Moore is back in Nov apparently not Jan. Dann really should be back before Jan unless he has really fcuked up his hamstring. Not that he’ll play or not get injured again

Sutekh Current injury list.

Hoping though no-one picked up any problems today and that none of those that might be on international duty (Loum, Joao, Hoilett, Rahman and Yiadom) come back damaged.

Ovie Ejaria - hamstring - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Femi Azeez - hamstring - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Shane Long - illness - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Naby Sarr - groin - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Liam Moore - knee - out until January
Scott Dann - calf - out until January

Any more of the senior players injured that I’ve forgotten?

Fingers crossed then that the club can get Ejaria, Azeez, Long and Sarr back, certainly make the bench look rather competitive at last.

My only interest in Moore is the he can get fit before the end of the next transfer window. Dann can be injured till the summer for all I care.

International watch -

João now represents Angola (but hasn't been called up since March)

Yiadom is in the World Cup 2022 Panini album but has fallen out of favour with Ghana

Amadou Mbengue is away with the Senegal U23s

He may be out on loan but Southwood has been called up for Northern Ireland

The school actually being Eton where he achieved the position of deputy head boy so a bit different from the usual route players have into the game.

Presume he’s injured as he had been in the u21s squad previously.

And just for the record he finished 3rd in the Junior Boys 100 metres at the English Schools Track & Field Championships in 2019 (he was around 14 at the time) with a time of 11.23 seconds, so presume he’s quick.

Hope he makes it with the club, must have something about him to have played in the first team already (albeit the league cup) at just 17.

He is eligible to represent both England and Uganda at international level and represented Uganda at the u17 CECAFA (whatever that is) finals last year.

May partially explain why Hector is training with a view to a deal.

You just knew it was too good to be true. Let’s hope there are no other setbacks/new injuries.

He is also able to represent Malta, and appears to have played for their U19 team in this international break

All done with Paul Ince’s pre Huddersfield press conference ✔️

Ejaria, Carroll both fit
Sarr and Long out for 2 or 3 weeks
Azeez few weeks from rejoining training

Confirmed Michael Hector was training with squad last week and Mark Bowen will speak with his agent

Good job Carroll and Meite are both back/fit at this time given Long's injured now so we'd have been a bit thin on the ground in that area.

What’s Long’s injury?

Also has Azeez had his setback yet?
