They've had 17 permanent managers since June 2012 (and Hayden Mullins as caretaker twice). So just over 6 months per appointment. In the decade before that, they had 6 managers.

Read somewhere that in those 10 years they have matched the same amount of managers West Ham have ever had!!

If you include caretakers at Watford then yes that is correct. West Ham have only had 18 permanent managers - if you include caretakers at West Ham though, they have had 20.

To be fair, in the last decade they've been relatively successful with that approach up until recent times, how many seasons were they in the PL for consecutively 6? 7 maybe? I'm not well versed in their history but I think that's their best ever run of PL appearances at least, whilst achieving record PL points tallies in that time as well.

Only really started turning sour in the last couple of seasons where they've gone back to being a bit of a yo-yo side that they once were for a short spell. Don't think Edwards was ever going to work out though and, just because of who it is, hardly a surprise they've got shut after 10 games.

Watford have had 14 top flight seasons in total (as per below). Their best ever run was their first run in the 1980s and their best ever finish was 2nd in their first ever top flight season.

1982/83 - 1987/88 (6 seasons)
1999/00 - 1999/00 (1 season)
2006/07 - 2006/07 (1 season)
2015/16 - 2019/20 (5 seasons)
2021/22 - 2021/22 (1 season)

Pepe the Horseman Another sacking for Watford. Edwards out, Bilic in.

Bilic gone by the World Cup then.

Seemingly only allowed to take charge of teams beginning with W. Lump some money on Wolves being Bilic’s next move!

And maybe lesser amounts on Wigan Athletic, Wimbledon, Walsall and Wycombe Wanderers.

Wrexham might be looking if they choke again this season?

What's most remarkable about the West Ham stat is that more than half of their managers, ever, have come since 2001. When Harry Redknapp left the club in May of that year, he did so as only their eighth manager in a span of nearly 100 years since their founding.

Since Redknapp, only Pardew has lasted longer than three years.

Shota Arveladze sacked by Hull which seems weird timing given they play tonight and haven't played for a few weeks. Why wait until today?

Apparently, over the international break, the owners of Hull had meetings with the manager over the direction and future of the club and as those meetings progressed it became clear that the owners vision was not in alignment with the manager and so both Shota Arveladze and head coach, Peter van der Veen, have parted ways with the owner.

First team coach Andy Dawson is now caretaker while a new manager is sought.

Gotta be it for Bruce and maybe Wilder. Not sure what's gone wrong at Boro, looked a very good appointment.

Fancy Terry to take over at WBA
