Hound I suspect the sheer amount of money they’ve spent could well hamstring them for a while if they don’t stay up. They must have blown their prem bonus cash and more

Have some respect for the likes of Norwich who seemed to have banked the cash, upgraded the stadium and training facilities, got the club stable and used the money that way

Absolutely. Them and Burnley have played it pretty sound.

Burnley - the team who are in debt to the tune of £90M - that one? Yeah, pretty sound.

They were ran well until they sold out to some dodgy US owners who loaded them with debt. Wasn’t the best thing to do

Hendo
South Coast Royal I hate it when teams get to the promised land and don't spend the new riches-that is the whole point surely in that the Sky money gives every club the chance to have a go.

Agree to an extent. But signing 2 completely new teams worth of players? That is just stupid and was only really ever going to go one way. They may end up gelling into a coherent team, but it'll be too late by then.

I guess they're going to look to become a yo-yo club, which is fine, I guess.

And yet Steve Cook still plays (turns up)

Luton 24 shots to Huddersfield’s 4 and the latter scored all of their 3 shots on target

Nameless
Royal_jimmy Our next seasons league rivals Nottingham Forest are planning to sack Steve Cooper after getting them up. Shocking really, it's not his fault that they don't have the quality for the premier league.

If only they had backed him in the transfer market.
How you expect a manager to build a team with only 24 new signings I will never know !

Yeah, but 21 of them were LBs.

Could be Bruce's last game tonight. Get the feeling there won't be many goals as it's Preston.

Preston battering them in the first 10 mins and deservedly in front.

He’s done incredibly well to be so bad at wba this season. Surely times up if they lose to useless PNE

Could WBA get relegated? Seems ridiculous. I'd think Bruce will get sacked and they'll recover with just about anyone they pick to replace him.

Hope they sort things out. Got a soft spot for Ron Gourlay.

Hopefully he will have Paul Clement lined up just to hammer the final nails in.

That would be hilarious, absolute cronyism.

They're doing a good job keeping him fit at least.

Roy Keane in the crowd and rumours he could take over this week.

11 years since he was last manager, could WBA be hoping for an Ince like impact?

Na, he always starts well, bout game 15 he gets what we know as a "minor knock", which means back around February, then his game dries up with a few good bits but no consistency, then gets another injury around March and we don't see him again that season.......

Have to admit he is looking like he is carrying a bit of timber.....that alleged 60k a week Gourley has him on is taking its toll.
