Lose track of who Ian is beefing with atm

Paul, Nameless, long running one with Leon, anyone else?

All a bit dull lads

I dont beef with him, just point out when he posts utter drivel yet is so insistent that he is right, because, oh yeah, its Ian Royal.

I like reading Mr Royal’s posts, plus YR’s. I don’t always agree with them but I respect that they both have strong opinions which they’re prepared to back up.

Most of my posts are a bit lame tbh but I think at the end of the day we all care about the club and HNA is a great place to reminisce and argue the toss if that floats your boat.

Indeed, although I'd probably just have him on the bench for this one. Thought the back 5 played very well last night and wouldn't be looking to change anything going into Friday. Unless one of them is totally gassed.

Agreed - leave him on the bench - would be tempted to go with the same side if the energy levels are good. Playing Friday gives us an 8 day gap to the next game, so players can have 2 or 3 days off after it. Yiadom comes in for Abbey would be the only change really unless Ince looks at a slightly different formation.

Hutchinson should be fine for West Brom. Was taken off as a precaution

If he’s out for any considerable amount of time then the EFL surely must let us sign up Hector or someone else, even for a short deal.

If not, we might well see Holzman or Abbey from the academy starting next week.

JLow reports:

https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/foot ... e-25247199

Reading FC are set to be without defender Sam Hutchinson for a number of weeks after the former Sheffield Wednesday player picked up an injury last week at QPR.

Reading FC defender Sam Hutchinson is expected to miss the next month with a hamstring injury.

Thought it was initially reported as a calf injury so not clear if this is a separate injury or if the original issue was mis-diagnosed?

Misreported perhaps. Don’t see how you could misdiagnose it
‘Point to where it hurts Sam…..’

So we have 2 out and out CBs left available with Yiadom who can do a more that satisfactory job with the RCB. Guess Mbengue is first back up then we are looking at moving Loum back there or sticking an Academy team.

Going to be very stretched until the WC now.

Still comparative riches compared to a year ago when Yids and Laurent had to play centre back as all our usual cb's were injured.

Not great but if further injuries I guess we could just go 4 at the back - though means two very offensive FBs in Hoilett and NGW

NGW could also play LCB if we wanted to stick with 3 and maybe play Ejaria out left

Or bring in Abbey or Abrefa.

If it was a 4 at the back I'd imagine we'd play Yiadom at RB with Holmes and TMac CB's and NGW left back?

But I agree, looking very stretched and down to the limit now. Wouldn't mind Clarke/Abbey stepping into the first team for a couple of games because they seem as if they may be capable, only time will tell though.

Thought Clarke looked ok when he's played there a couple of times - wouldn't be against seeing him get some more first team action.

Yep. Clarke has shown plenty of promise too. Stickland and Abbey on the fringe...

Couple more to go down before we're in real trouble.

Yep Clarke did well when he came into the side early on in the season.
