Coppells Lost Coat I think we need to drop the Joao or Carroll partnership until we figure out the best way to make it work. Carroll just invites us to launch balls up to him - WBA were happy to allow him to win everything as it was not in a dangerous position and Joao is not a player to challenge for the 2nd balls. No point in Carroll playing if his back is towards goal and 50 yards away.

Think Tince needs to be knocked down a peg or 2 as well he is constantly on the players backs even though he is the most guilty of over playing things. His yellow card on 15 minutes was due to him cheaply losing the ball when a simple pass was on.

Maybe not scrap it but try and find different ways to make it work. With them both in the box, you'd ideally, be wanting to swing as many crosses into the box as possible and with the likes of Ince and Hoilett consistently on the field, we've got some pretty good crossers of the ball and I don't doubt players like Yiadom and NGW will be capable of putting a half decent ball into the box as well and we can feed off from there.

Sutekh Joel Piroe is suspended having been dismissed at Burnley for violent conduct (though Swansea are considering an appeal depending on what they see when they review the footage).

I would like us to revert back to the 4-2-3-1 system. Yiadom and Hoilett are playing out of position which isn't ideal so i would go with this team.

Yiadom Holmes McIntyre GW

Loum Fornah

Ince Ejaria Hoilett

Long

Joao, Carroll and Long all on the bench. Blimey. Ejaria on the bench too along with Baba, Bouzanis and NGW.
This is the strongest bench all season. It must be used.

We could have had a hundred Nobbers guessing that line-up and none would have been right!

It's a super rogue line up but fair play - will be interested to see how it plays!

Paul Ince has tried Meite through the middle on a number of occasions and it hasn't worked-hopefully tonight he will prove to be right.

Worth a go up front I guess. Can't be any worse than it is at the minute. 0 goals in open play away from home is not a record to be proud of.

Well that's a shake up!

And as said, plenty of power on the bench.
