Mbengue is an absolute calamity at RWB.

Gooding and Dellor would be giving Meite absolute pelters for lack of pressing if he was Joao. Not a word of it though.

There’s far too much Swansea in this game.

You just can't expect to get points with that little of the game, even if we're currently bucking the trend, it almost certainly won't last.

Agree that you can't "expect" but coming away from home to a side who'd fancy to beat us, can't really blame us for setting up like we have done really, trying to slow the game down at most/every opportunity, Swansea are known for keeping the ball no matter who they play.

Considering the error they made for our second goal, when we do get a chance to get it forward, I would like to see us step on them more and at least look after the little of the ball we have with a bit more care if we can.

This is like watching some full pitch Rondo

Would be nice to actually just see us have some possession. Even 2 passes in a row

It's not like we're set up specially for this game. It's the story of 90% of our matches home or away to a greater or lesser extent.

apart from miraculously scoring 2 goals, we've been absolute shite. 75% possession is appalling, our time wasting is embarrassing, if they don't change things second half, then no way we will come out of this with any points. Awful.

Well, we finally scored in open play away from home.
Can't see us holding this lead though. We just seem to drop so deep and give them the ball. Just asking for trouble.

7 experienced players who can play centre back at Reading:

Dann - injured
Holmes
Hutchinson - injured
McIntyre
Moore - injured
Sarr - injured
Yiadom - suspended

Presume he’ll go with 5 at the back still and Loum will drop back. Think I’d prefer a straight 4 and a deep lying midfielder though.

I think he'll play Clarke.

Presumably Lumley will get booked for time wasting again.
Great smash and grab stuff and credit to Meite for being in the right place for the first and for hassling the centre-back and then creating the second.

Will it be a repeat of the 4-4 from last season?
Jekyll and Hyde Reading after last Saturday.

and West Brom are magically back to being shit after they turned us over. Probably bad tactics frankly, not surprising we ditched the Carroll + Joao experiment.

Blackburn two points clear at the top in the live table. They have lost seven games this season and we are only in the third week of October.
