paultheroyal Spoke to a parent of one of the wba players on Saturday, basically Bruce was “liked” by most of the players but had very old fashioned views and seen as a bit of a dinosaur.

Dyche appears to be a done deal from what he was saying. I did hear he was at the game but not sure if that was true.

Dyche deserves a better job than WBA but I suppose he might not want to wait around for an opportunity much longer.

Good manager Dyche but he’s very much the old fashioned type too, not exactly a huge deviation in play style

Really, I don't think West Brom is that bad of a job, they've just had a very poor time of it under Bruce. The quality is there within the squad to make the play offs at a minimum, it's translating that into results on the pitch now. Whether players like Swift fit into a Dyche model is a different matter though altogether.

For the record, I do think Dyche would easily get a bottom end PL job, but I don't think West Brom really is that bad of a job to take, the only reservations I'd have taking that job would be the owners, I'd definitely be assessing the owners and seeing what their vision for the club is and how they'd want to get there.

FTR I don’t think WBA is a bad job either.

Just think after what he did at Burnley he should easily get a mid / lower PL job.

Quite a bit of chatter that Villa have sacked Gerrard and are lining up Poch as a replacement.

I have seen Tuchel's name mentioned as well. Fair to say that Villa are very much being ambitious about where they want to go, I wonder if it might bite them in their backside similar to Everton and Leicester now though.

Was he sacked or did he choose to leave after doing a good job there?
Maybe he has an offer of something back in British football.

Michael Beale it is then for Wolves. Any disruption for QPR can only be a good thing

Yeah - going to enjoy this one - fans are already self-combusting.

Does seem a trend now of Premier League Clubs moving towards British coaches and ones who speak various languages.

I know he has a bit of pedigree, but 15 games as a manager in the Championship, with a win rate of <50% qualifies him for immediate progression to the ranks of PL manager?

Good luck to him but it seems a bit premature to me when there's the likes of Sean Dyche out there.

Has to be. I have no idea what has gone wrong at Villa. Tyrone "facestamper" Mings aside, there is a lot of talent and investment gone into that club and they have been utter shite.
Think if Spurs have a bad run Conti is gonna be under pressure as well. They really have fudged their up the table this season playing some awful football and being outplayed in many of the games. Last night against Man U they were shocking. Could have been 7 or 8. Spurs fans like good football and watching Spurs at the minute really isn't that.

Can see a few more going before the World Cup to give new managers time to assess and change squads

Marsch, Rodgers, Lampard, Hassenhutl and Cooper all looking over their shoulders I’d imagine

Cooper will be fine. Forest can be crazy but moving him from a deal with 1 year left to a 5 year deal then firing him, would be a new level of crazy.
