Sanguine Not sure how Liverpool's management digest beating City and Napoli (Europe's form team), sandwiching defeat to Forest and Leeds, neither of whom had won since August.

Not just one game but they have beaten the 2 best club teams in the world in the space of a couple of weeks.
As sanguine says, it's almost unreal that they also contrived to lose against 2 of the worst teams in the Premier League but that's sport for you.

5 thoughts on why Liverpool are so utterly hopeless this season:
- Mane is missed way more than they thought he would be
- continual injuries have wrecked any chance of consistency esp. losing Jota and the outstanding Diaz
- the lack of investment in the squad overall meaning the strength and quality in depth is still not there despite it being an issue for years
- too much money being spent elsewhere on their Academy and ground improvements but then that has to be done to aid the club to be competitive at the highest level in the long term
- Klopp does not have a plan B to fix things and just seems to keep changing formations and hoping. He hit upon a way to play in beating Man City but didn’t seem to retain that approach in the following games and consequently suffered two excruciatingly embarrassing (for them) results

"utterly hopeless"?
When I looked at the table last they were around the middle, not in the relegation zone which surely would be the case if they were "utterly hopeless".
Likewise you have to be a bit better than utterly hopeless surely to have beaten both City and Napoli?
Am not disagreeing with your points and am just pleased that you care enough about Liverpool FC to post on their topic.

I couldn't remember either but damned if I'm gonna let facts stand in the way

This persona isn't really working bro
The final is normally held the Saturday after the Premier League season finishes in May. The only seasons in recent times when this pattern was not followed were: 1999–2000, when most rounds were played a few weeks earlier than normal as an experiment; 2010–11 and 2012–13 when the FA Cup Final was played before the Premier League season had finished, to allow Wembley Stadium to be ready for the UEFA Champions League final,[21] as well as in 2011–12 to allow England time to prepare for that summer's European Championships;[22] and 2019–20 when the final was delayed until August due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom.[23][24]
