higher In a slightly parallel universe we are currently 3 nil up.

That's the same one that England won the World Cup for the 4th time...

Yep that's the one.

What a total shit show. Three travesties of goals.

First one pissing about not clearing our lines, back in flick on to the striker ourselves.

Second one, pissing about not clearing our lines and stupidly going to ground for Deeney to con the ref by trailing a leg and diving.

Third one switched off and airkicked whilst the covering defender steps up.

Lumely not at fault, but not covering himself with any glory. Defence pissing about with it and midfield awol from showing for them.

Lots of poor decision making. And nothing coming off upfront. Clear second best.

Oh well. Won the last two.

I remember losing 6-1 there once we were worse than this.

Second best? We've just been awful at the back, punished for 3 errors and we've forced Ruddy to make 2 good saves and Meite had his chance, scoreline could very much be reversed. We've had plenty up front, just not been clinical whereas they have.

Don't know how Lumley comes into conversation, don't know how you can phrase it "doesn't cover himself in glory", it's just bad for him that he's conceded 3 goals, nothing he could do with any of them really.

Other than that, about right.

First Brum away I've missed in years and I couldn't be happier. I turned off after about 10 minutes too because I just cba with Reading tonight.

Well we really couldn’t have made it any easier for them. Brum not shown a lot but then why would they? We’ve just gifted them 3 of the easiest goals you’ll ever see at this level

We’ve done some ok stuff going forward, Meite has been excellent, but we have zero chance if you’re just going to hand a 3 goal lead to the opposition on a plate

The half time tactical talk will be to encourage falling over a lot and complain incessantly that the pitch is a serious risk to life and limb. :)

Just curious - what's with the lower seats not in use? At first glance it looks like we went back in time to 2020.

Pretty much, we will get slaughtered by anyone on our day with errors like that.

The stand was built on the cheap in the 90s using shite steel which has corroded so it didn't get a safety certificate. They've been repairing the damage over the past year.

This is what it looked like

That's less than 5 years older than our stadium.

Jackson Corner Safe to say this is over. When was the last time we came from 2 down to get anything?

April, if you count being 3-1 down

Thanks but that was at fortress SCL.

Away from home in the league:

21 November 2017

Bolton 2 Reading 2

Reading: L Moore (76), L Bacuna (pen 83)
Bolton: R Burke (18), D Pratley (23)

Reading have done it more recently in the cup at Cardiff in February 2020 to draw 3-3 aet.

Extra marks for anyone finding a 3 goal deficit recovered away from home by Reading.

We are a limited side which is perfectly understandable. We really should not be anywhere near the play offs.

We just need to scramble enough points to avoid being dragged into the bottom three.

Nice. Thought they weren’t fixing it hence a lot of the fan discontent. Not that I’ve shown a lot of interest tbh
